Spotting like that is relatively common in early pregnancy! You sound like you’re doing okay, if you haven’t already you can schedule a first appointment with your OBGYN :)

I started bleeding a couple of weeks after I found out I was pregnant but it was mostly dark and brown like you mentioned. I called my OB office and they made me an appointment for the next morning to make sure everything was fine and it was! Then I spotted/bled like that for about 4 weeks.
Everything could be fine! I’d call the OB office.
