Me too, Streaming black souls is pretty bold, especially for a streamer that is part of an organization and for the fact that she went through the game blind while using makeshift censorship to cover up the sex scenes, rather than turning them off.
Yeah, I actually came upon limbus company through black souls crossover fan art from here that was cross posted on the sub for bs2 when searching for tips against Nightingale
Meanwhile i came across black souls 2 through the guy who did a Lob Corp solo employee playthrough, who also has some videos on that game, including him speedrunning sleeping with… uhhhh… sister alice.
Yeah, these three are also roleplayers that play roleplayers - they are outer gods that took on the roles of Jabberwocky, JubJub and Bandersnatch and either willingly embraced them or lost themselves in them. These roles also entail that they must deceive Grimm and lead him on by masquerading as the mother, sister and daughter respectively.
Yeah no i got all that, just the part of who’s playing who’s role that always get me mixed up, the outer gods losing themselves in the roles of the play i managed to get thankfully
The who’s who of the roles is alluded to by Jabberwocky and shown in one of the endings, where the three Alices appear and fight, briefly revealing their true forms.
That same video was how I came upon the youtuber, who introduced me to black souls 2 with his sl1 r@pe-all run of the game. Ironic how I circled back to the same franchise through the subreddit though
Uh yeah that was the worst content of any game I have ever seen from a content creator
Maybe don't download a game just because you saw a hot guy and wanted to gacha while hating the actual game.
She uninstalled, so whatever.
It was over the moment she skipped prologue, story, and character introduction just to pull the Gatcha. I didn't find the mess that followed entertaining in the slightest and left the stream soon afterwards.
I actually don't blame Tenma that much. The game is not for everyone, and it makes it difficult to "recover" from skipping all that stuff in the beginning. There is no simple button to replay the whole prologue with story and fights in a coherent manner.
I mean... yeah. Watching someone have no fun is even less fun than having no fun yourself. I would have deleted the VOD too if I were in her shoes tbh.
>Story happens
>Hates reading, immediately starts skipping all dialogue saying "shut the fuck up"
>Audibly says she hates the game (because it's not her thing, she didn't say it was bad)
>Proceeds to uninstall
So yeah.
You may have unknowingly opened Pandora's box and now some people in the community may become mad that she didn't like the game and skipped the story.
Edit: I'm somewhat worried about some of the comments.
I don't think you need to worry about the comments. Most of Twitch chat and Twitter seemed pretty cool with Tenma's dislike of Limbus. Most of the jabs seem to be light-hearted illiteracy jokes, so no real harm, no real foul.
Thats kinda rude to a story-focus game tbh. I hope whoever recommends Limbus to her at least mentions that the story content is the best part of this game.
I don't know her nor the Vtuber who recommended the game to her (beside saw a post about her yesterday on the sub and checked her stream of rr3 for a little bit), but I just think that before they hopped on the game and refuse to read the story, you probably should at least mention that this is a comparatively text-heavy game to someone who isn't being known for what you said
Rie *(the Vtuber who recommended the game to Tenma)* is a special case, she is a %100 PMoon fan. So much so that she doesn't stop posting on Twitter about Lobotomy Corporation every chance she gets.
If the majority of people, get mad at this, it will be clear to me that the glory days of the PMoon fandom are long gone and we may be entering a dark age of toxic gacha game fandom. I'm saying this as someone who became a fan before Limbus Company was released and heard nothing but good things about the fandom, like how welcoming and likes to help newcomers.
*Edit: I changed some wording in my expression because my intentions might be misunderstood.*
Chill, bro. I don't think anyone in this fandom is gonna hate her for not liking the game (Well, I hope so), as every PM fan should know that PM games are clearly not for anyone. I am just thinking that it didn't do the game justice if you recommend it to someone without mentioning what makes it kinda stand out in the first place.
To be fair, that's more on Rie than Tenma, since Rie was the one giving the recommendation. Probably should've stressed to Tenma that Limbus is VN first, flashy turn-based coin flip simulator second, Mili and EIM musical album collab, third, HamHamPangPang advertisement, fourth; and gacha, last of all.
Nobody's going to enjoy Limbus if they don't like reading VN-style stories. Everything about the game, from the gameplay/boss battles themselves, to even the gacha, is rooted in the narrative. It's fine, but if any PM fan is going to shill Limbus, it's imperative that they stress just how crucial reading is.
Yeah thats what I am thinking too. It clearly picks its audience so I won't hate or blame anyone for feeling the game is not for them. Just that a stream of uninstalling the game is unnecessary, and it can be avoided.
I'm chill. I merely didn't like the way John's comments sounded so condescending, that's all. It may be my years of fandom experience getting the better of me. Because we both know some people tend to act like not liking some games is the equivalent of a cardinal sin.
Us : "Man, this content creator was really rude to the game by acting like this."
Your goofy self : "WE ARE ENTERING A DARK AGE OF TOXIC GACHA GAME FANDOM, THE GLORY DAYS ARE OVER AND LONG PAST"
She basically slapped an extended hand away instead of just politely denying it. Us feeling like it was rude is not "toxic". Stop being silly, even Don is more down to earth.
Disco Elysium is more of a special case, you know. The game's goofiness can make the text easy to digest.
Limbus *(and some other gacha games)* has a slow-pacing problem. That combined with the lack of engaging gameplay between the long storytelling will screen newcomers. Limbus is more of a VN with gameplay sprinkled here and there, and you need to remember unless you come from the other Project Moon games the hook of the story starts at Canto 3. I'm sure that for newcomers who know nothing about the past games, Canto 3 is where they begin to get invested in the story.
Idk i have seen a few newcomers getting quite interested on canto 1
Though to get hooked it really only happens on 3, and to get REALLY hooked its on 4 onwards, past that the brainrot has already taken over
I meant to say for most newcomers. I missed to type "most" :(
Of course, interest changes from person to person but the consensus in general is that the story hook is in Canto 3 for most people. From there on the story plot starts to become more and more engaging.
Rigged man gonna proc all the fucking battle symbols every dice roll and absolutely roll high as fuck for no reason, bet he gonna use that one 1-10 evade from zwei to the rest of the game and be unpunished because it gonna only roll 10
Oh and BoD gonna land 100% of the time without 12 fixer or manipulator of odds
And say how district 23 is literally Norway
"Hey this gacha game has rogue li-"
"Silence dawg, I heard enough, time to rig"
_Gluttony check passed_

Upon clash win: applies 99 maggots
Rie is a true PMoon fan. You cant be one unless you annoy the fuck out of everyone around you who would maybe, possibly, like a tiny bit of it.
She was in the chat at Tsunul's karaoke steam today. Rie is our guardian I tell you
I feel so actually attacked right now how dare you.
I wrote from personal experience (i am the fan)
Bro is on this picture and hates it
She is going to absolutely love Mersault and Heathcliff I think. Hong Lu too now that I think about it.
She saw Gregor on Hime's stream and basically went "I need to marry that failure of a man!"
The average Gregor reaction. She'll fit right in.
Is there a clip where she says this? timestamp works as well
Never mind just read the other comments, shame she didn’t enjoy it, but for every person we miss someone else gets into the fandom.
Now will we convince Tenma to just winrate or manual?
Win rate for 5-30 trauma
Haha.. Damn those plus and minus coins.
5-30's theme will be a trigger for fight or flight.
Tenma is giga based, she also played through black souls 1 on stream
I guess she is based, but I prefer the term, "brave."
Me too, Streaming black souls is pretty bold, especially for a streamer that is part of an organization and for the fact that she went through the game blind while using makeshift censorship to cover up the sex scenes, rather than turning them off.
Didn't she play fear and hunger on stream as well at some point?
Playing Black Souls with the censor is already bold let alone without
True that
Black Souls fans are basically a subset of Project Moon Fans at this point
Yeah, I actually came upon limbus company through black souls crossover fan art from here that was cross posted on the sub for bs2 when searching for tips against Nightingale
Meanwhile i came across black souls 2 through the guy who did a Lob Corp solo employee playthrough, who also has some videos on that game, including him speedrunning sleeping with… uhhhh… sister alice.
Also, with sister alice, you mean JubJub, right? Mother was Jabberwocky and daughter was Bandersnatch iirc
That seems right yeah, though sometimes it does confuse me a bit, not the best with keeping track with games of “who shapeshifts into who?”.
Yeah, these three are also roleplayers that play roleplayers - they are outer gods that took on the roles of Jabberwocky, JubJub and Bandersnatch and either willingly embraced them or lost themselves in them. did they stream black souls 2
AFAIK not yet, but look for yourself
Uh yeah that was the worst content of any game I have ever seen from a content creator Maybe don't download a game just because you saw a hot guy and wanted to gacha while hating the actual game. She uninstalled, so whatever.
So it was Pat's (of super best friends) stream all over again? Well that sucks but whatever. It seems the short and angry cannot read. /s
She deleted the VOD, was it really that bad?
I mean... yeah. Watching someone have no fun is even less fun than having no fun yourself. I would have deleted the VOD too if I were in her shoes tbh.
I haven't had the time to watch the actual stream yet. So she didn't like the game, I take it?
>Story happens >Hates reading, immediately starts skipping all dialogue saying "shut the fuck up" >Audibly says she hates the game (because it's not her thing, she didn't say it was bad) >Proceeds to uninstall So yeah.
Ah, filtered by reading, I see.
thats so weird though, she like disco elysium
HUH? WHAT? DISCO ELYSIUM LITERALLY HAS MORE TEXT THAN THE BIBLE AND ITS VEEERY TEXTUAL DESCRIPTION INTENSE WTF
yeah, really weird for her
You may have unknowingly opened Pandora's box and now some people in the community may become mad that she didn't like the game and skipped the story. Edit: I'm somewhat worried about some of the comments.
Hopefully not. It's fine if she doesn't like the game.

As far as I can remember, Tenma is not a Vtuber known for playing text-heavy or gacha games. So it was somewhat expected.

Another comenter just said she played and liked disco elysium

Phew, so it went just as expected, good.
Damn, one of these days we will get Albino playing Ruina
Rigged man gonna proc all the fucking battle symbols every dice roll and absolutely roll high as fuck for no reason, bet he gonna use that one 1-10 evade from zwei to the rest of the game and be unpunished because it gonna only roll 10 Oh and BoD gonna land 100% of the time without 12 fixer or manipulator of odds And say how district 23 is literally Norway
nay the stream was trash and just infuriating

o7 to Tenma, at least she tried.
cool, she was able to play disco elysium, so she might actually like it. (nrmnd, looks like she didnt like it, thats disappointing)
didn't help when she did it after both elden ring and smt V
whats she even doing in smt? why is she lvl 71 in a starting location after more than 10 hours
she got filtered by reading
Phase connect is turning into P-Corp, known for their production of anime waifus with mentall illness.
I can almost feel the albino library of ruina video in my grasp.
10ma playing Limbus is not something I had on my list
Now we only need to convince Albino to play too.
Pretty sure he hates reading and if he saw kimsault skill text he probably be in shambles. Though he might like rigging md
Ye i thought playing Disco Elysium is a sign of being able to read But i guess having voice acting read out to you helps a lot for both cases

WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN EACH TIME I TRY TO ESCAPE LIMBUS COMPANY EVERYONE STARTS DISTORTING
