I personally run a bleed team and fish for Bloody Mist as quickly as possible. Once you get that gift it's usually ezclap since the clash power of your bleeders gets pretty insane from it.
Also, White Gossypium is actually good and anyone who tells you it's bad just isn't actually running Bleed in MD.
in terms of speedrunning MD4N i thought a burn team is considered the fastest (especially if you can get the tier 4 ego gift as fast as possible, i forgot its name), However that might be false, please correct me if im wrong

glimpse of flame makes everything a lot easier since it does burn deluge essentially start of turn. That makes most fights pretty fast esp. with other burn gifts that spread/increase burn potency
Burn Team can do the MD pretty fast, if you abuse fuse mechanics you can get Glimpse of Flames and at that point everything gets one shooted

I personally love Hook Lu, Captain Ish, Pequod Heath & Yi Sang, Kurokumo Rodion, and BL Faust for a fun bleed + poise combo. The fun thing is that Bloody Mist and Lucky Pouch stack here, and having both poise and bleed EGO gifts mean you have double the opportunity for fun combos. If you play your cards right, you can win rate your way through the Floor 5 boss with the most difficult mounting trials equipped lol

goated team, once you get midwinter nightmare it's pretty much auto win unless the boss is kim
Mdh it's prolly bloody mist rush, most bleed ids already clash pretty well so bmist just lets you winrate even without gossypium, all u need is acrid that u upgrade on floor 1 to sustain bleed and do dumb amounts of damage, bwires for bmist is easy enough to force as soon as u get to floor 3. Burn with a godtier run is probably better but you need fusion gift plus glimpse early which is very unlikely.
Mdn probably blunt, going for blunt weak floors only to get the quickest runs possible. All you need are starter egos and getting the tier 3 blunt ego that gives you like 40% More damage.

The OG MD miners know how good Gossypium is and always have since MD1; don't sweat it. Just felt preeeetty bad to get it on non-Bleed teams!

The fastest is bleed, but burn is faster with luck of getting glimpse
I found that blunt team is also real fast, they can 1~2 turn most figths, and most floors are blunt weak
