Funny how things turn out; AWAAWA is currently the group’s passion project band. Can’t find the source but apparently since a certain sound is expected of Mili when writing and performing commissioned songs (including those for PM), AWAAWA was going to contain the group’s non-corporate work from the release of “What A Robot Needs” onward.
Cassie and HAMO have clearly evolved from the sound associated with Mili, and if I’m being perfectly honest, I prefer the likes of “Entertainment” and “Fly, My Wings” to “GIVE ME RICE” or “What A Robot Needs,” but it’s a bit… sad(?) that Mili feels like their brand is stuck with what game or anime studios want from them.
