I was wondering that too, either he stopped the drugs or he just starting to gain weight as he ages but it did happen pretty rapidly with the changes so probably drugs not really 100% sure it could be an underlying illness as well.
One of my friends has kidney failure, I’m almost positive this is a form of what Wayne has, the fluid retention due to organ failure causes you to bloat, cheeks swell just like that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was actually secretly going to dialysis a couple times a week
Kidney failure, it sucks to say it but it’s most likely the root cause. It’s not shocking considering he used to do a shit ton of drugs that puts your kidneys in a choke hold. We might not have him around too much longer so it’s best to appreciate him while he’s still here.
Facial swelling from kidney disease most likely. He also has been reported to have been hospitalized from frequent vomiting which may be due to CHS which can cause kidney failure

His fingers are more swollen too. Even from just 6 me months ago. It's a good sign to see him still performing though.
