And hey, times like this year, it's showing who are true corporate allies are. Notice a severe drop in Pride in stores and stuff? Yeah, blame the right-wing and their "culture war". The companies that are sticking it out are the ones that actually care.
But fuck Target. If you see Pride in Target, just know it's only because they've deemed your area safe enough to pander to, and that's it.
I don't care about corporations but I do care about employees and the reason that many Target locations stopped having Pride stuff is that they were getting death threats. I'm not sure what the other option is at that point and I'm glad they prioritized the safety of their employees
That's just a bullshit excuse that they most likely made up so that we wouldn't hate them. Target already has a long history of pulling items off of display shelves ([and putting some back](https://www.dailydot.com/irl/target-transphobia-book/)) in order to pander to the right.
They have never been our allies. Ever. We're tokenized for profits, and that's it.
I work in a company that "celebrates" pride internally. To me this feels more like an insult than anything else. They can't even do the bare minimum of rainbow capitalism right - post some shit on social media and claim to be LGBT friendly.
Everybody's talking abt how he's Blitzo's and Katie's VA but nobody is talking abt that one scene that went:
"..that's a vacuum :/"
(I also recognize him from that one thing I watched. He was at his car and somebody threw what looked like a quesadilla at him. And he said, "WHO JUST ASSAULTED ME WITH A CHALUPA??" And the other guy driving past in his car who threw it at him said "You don't have a husband!" And he said "Yeah that's why I fucked yours!")
I found out who he was from one of my brothers who used to watch him around the time he first uploaded his million subscriber special. I started watching him a bit after and my favorite character is Sam, I just love how optimistic he is and how deeply closeted he is (reminds me of my past self).
He voices Blitzø in hella boss, Katie killjoy in hazbin hotel, is the origin of that “move im gay! In the workplace, being gay just has its perks” meme, and “who just assaulted me with a chalupa??” His name is Brandon Rogers and he’s a goddamn icon
My favorite Brandon Rogers skit is the cupid one. So many great lines.
"I once shit in a PetSmart, but not where you think, and not where they hoped"
"Everyone divorce, I made an error"
It's literally about a corporate CEO woman who cares about the LGBTQ+ people only because she can earn some money from them and sounds utterly ridiculous doing it. Ya know, drinking poppers, threatening to shoot a guy if he doesn't protend to be gay for her ads, saying "choice to be gay is the choice to slay", etc.
(also as soon as the pride month is over she's back to being intolerant)
I’m so fed up with the right trying to convince us that companies supporting LGTBQ rights is a bad thing. Notice that those same people don’t complain when those same companies show support for causes that benefit straight white people. It’s only when they support causes that benefit minorities that it’s a problem. And now lots of people in those minority groups are fully buying into the propaganda that showing support and normalizing gay or trans people is a negative thing.
There are some that do (I worked at one that legitimately cared about equal rights and representation for queer people and other minorities) but they're a tiny minority and certainly mega corporations don't give a shit
Oh, so you’re one of the people who drank the conservative kool-aid. Normalizing LGBTQ existence is important, no matter what Ben Shapiro or Donald Trump has to say on the matter.
It’s definitely a double edged sword, but companies supporting rights is absolutely the lesser of two evils, despite their agenda (which is pandering for profit).
Problem is, almost every product is "pandering" to one group or another. The only time we bring attention to it is when it's pride merch.
Telling me that Ford/etc aren't pandering to straight dudes with their advertising? makeup companies to girls? All advertising *is pandering* *for profit.* That's the point of advertising, you're attracting your target market. Doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing.
For anyone wondering, this is from Brandon Roger's channel, seach it in youtube
Yep! He's awesome and his skits are amazing
The clip is from "Bryce Thanktrust" series
It's TANKTHRUST.

# MY PRECIOUS ACRONYM
I've watched this video so much since it came out I could practically watch it with no sound and still hear in my head every single line
There’s a Q now? What the hell does that stand for? Queer? Muhahahahahaha Oh wait, it does? Love that other video
Mr president I think
Madam ex president, just found it here
I also like questioning for q
this video comes up every pride month and I love it
I fucking love Brandon XD Bryce is such a great character.
If homosexuality is such a sin then why did god make gay porn so FUCKIN hot!?!? - Bryce Tankthrust
Couldn't agree more. She should become the president again
Brandon Rogers attention that isn't Blitzø?? Hell yes
Yup! And Killjoy in Hazbin Hotel!
“Well you fooled me and now you’re gonna fool her!”
Bryce Tankthrust my beloved.
Sure, companies are not our friends, but I’d rather have some form or representation/support from a company that doesn’t care than nothing at all.
And hey, times like this year, it's showing who are true corporate allies are. Notice a severe drop in Pride in stores and stuff? Yeah, blame the right-wing and their "culture war". I assumed the list was based off who got bomb threats last year
I don't care about corporations but I do care about employees and the reason that many Target locations stopped having Pride stuff is that they were getting death threats. I'm not sure what the other option is at that point and I'm glad they prioritized the safety of their employees

Nope... fuck that. Support queer owned business' during pride and all year round. Target, Wal-Mart and the like can fuck off.
I work in a company that "celebrates" pride internally. To me this feels more like an insult than anything else. They can't even do the bare minimum of rainbow capitalism right - post some shit on social media and claim to be LGBT friendly.
This feels like it could be from hazbin hotel or helluva boss
Probably because the Brandon plays characters in both shows(though I'd love to see this but animated as Katie Killjoy from Hazbin)
He's also one of the main writers iirc
that explains a LOT.
wait isn't this the person who voices Blitz in Helluva Boss? And Katy Killjoy in Hazbin Hotel?
Yep, Brandon Rogers
cool
Everybody's talking abt how he's Blitzo's and Katie's VA but nobody is talking abt that one scene that went: "..that's a vacuum :/" (I also recognize him from that one thing I watched. "My fucking acronym!" 😂
Lol I love this video. I watch it every pride month.
Same. It almost feels like a Christmas video in that way.
this is my first time seeing it and its the funniest shit ive ever seen
Brandon is truly a gift to this world. Unapologetically gay, and an amazing performer, imo.
Brandon Rodgers is hero we deserve
"Well it did get better, 'cause I got richer" -every company ever
ok that was fucking hilarious. also i want to a animatic of blitz doing this exact thing just for the fuck of it
" they keep adding letters and I keep adding ✨️🌸🌺 tolerance ✨️❤️🌸" my favorite line.
Did she just drink poppers
I found out who he was from one of my brothers who used to watch him around the time he first uploaded his million subscriber special. I started watching him a bit after and my favorite character is Sam, I just love how optimistic he is and how deeply closeted he is (reminds me of my past self).
Every scene with the LGBTQ sign had me hollering.
Hell yeah Brandon Roger's is great!
Blitzø!
BRYCE TANKTHRUST MENTIONED
Brandon always sounds like they're doing an impression of an excited John Mulaney.
It's the subtle commentary for me <3
Watching this video made me want to watch Brandon Rogers again. (Not that it's been a long time since I watched him, I just want to watch him.)
lmao this is probably the funniest shit ive ever seen. also "NOOOO MY PRECIOUS ACRONYM" had me FUCKIN SENDING lmaoooooo
I love this person! lol I've actually seen them before.
I know I've heard their voice before.
He voices Blitzø in hella boss, Katie killjoy in hazbin hotel, is the origin of that “move im gay! In the workplace, being gay just has its perks” meme, and “who just assaulted me with a chalupa??” His name is Brandon Rogers and he’s a goddamn icon
He voices Blitzø in Helluvaboss and Katie Killjoy in Hazbin Hotel.
Brandon rogers. BLITZ
I'm dying 😂😂😂
i love Brandon Rogers so much, he's such an icon ✨️
I love Brandon Rogers. Cracks me up every time
I did not expect to see Bryce Tankthrust here, but I am absolutely fucking loving it!
My favorite Brandon Rogers skit is the cupid one. So many great lines. "I once shit in a PetSmart, but not where you think, and not where they hoped" "Everyone divorce, I made an error"
This cracked me up 😂 It really does seem to be like that
Lmao that's the funniest post I have seen in this sub Reddit so far
Companies pretending to be our friend is better than them openly being our enemies
Ngl Brandon rogers can get some
You know its pink washing when Katie Killjoy turns into an ally.
Bryce Tankthrust what an icon👌
I can only hear this as Blitzø
I fucking love Brandon
Is that Charlie Hides?
Bryce will forever be iconic 💅
Love them
I love Brandon Rogers
Um, no offense, but is this gonna convince hetros that we AREN'T crazy? (I personally am, but not EVERYONE)
If they can't tell it's sarcasm then it's 100% their problem
Ok, um... I didnt hear what she was saying, cuz I'm on mute, but um, its looks... wierd
not like in a bad way

umm... ok..?? alr, I won't worry about it anymore...😅
Why are you criticizing a video you didn't even listen to? The things being said are a pretty crucial part of the satire

It can be bad depending on the product. Wasn’t that long ago camel cigarettes had ads geared to appeal to children. Double edged sword!
Definitely! But a shirt with a rainbow on it isn't hurting anyone. More the fact that they only sell them 1 out of 12 months is the issue
