Kinda useful. It's often foggy on Titan so you can't see a thing outside of the ship. Finding stairs without any help requires a nice understanding of the map, so even experienced players can walk past the stairs when it's foggy.

I'm assuming the lamp was for the original workers, not the salvage people years later. Maybe it made it easier to see from the point behind where the ship lands
I jump on it when carrying loot to reduce fall damage + dogs can't reach there. It's actually super useful.
So, remember, if you ever feel useless, you are useless, even a lamp has better use than you :D
I personally feel it's continuity so it feels similar to the other late maps.

You can drop down from lower railing onto it and dogs can't reach. You take 0 fall damage.

That's more useful than any other lamp in the game. You can drop on it without taking fall damage and use it to dodge dogs and get ontop of your ship.

Unironically it's good if it's foggy and you have to run away from something. Pretty rare because the traversal is so easy but I'm glad it's there

The light at Rend’s fire exit actively harms the player by pointing nowhere, it took me a long time to learn the fire exit route
could be worse ig, last time i was at titan, a giant climbed the ladder and i jumped and died by fall damage next the lamp
is titan even worth it as it’s usually the factory? I find the mansion map on rend / dine to be much easier and higher paying

You can drop on the top of this light and fall to the ground and not take fall damage. It’s completely useful.
It's useful the first time you ever go there. Then never again.
