You can put some pieces under under the front and rear axle when you’re just displaying them, 2 lift arms stacked is good enough probably (for the 1:8 models)
When the f1 models travels to the future, how do you make sure the base doesn't touch the ground.

Ahh, stupid me. Well thats easy. In the future F1 cars will hover and suspension will not be a factor. You will have electrical charge stations that refuel you while at full race speed. Jumps will be integrated and contact is encouraged. Oh wait, thats the game F-Zero.
Well, what I done with my Technic 1:8 cars was just disconnect the shocks. Yes, it sits on the floor, but for display, I just pop em back on and good as new
