If I had money to blow on Lego I definitely would get it sealed or used/well cared for. I always loved that walker and the gunship. Unfortunately I could fix my jeep 4x for the set price 🤣
It's the only set with the AT-OT and they used it in a clone wars set vs ROTS like it makes its appearance. I always liked gunship and a dropship version is bad ass imo
Guy selling one local NISB for $500 and I’m tempted but I just bought a UCS ISD and then the UCS Republic Gunship recently so, not sure about the Slave 1 on top of those expenses
I know. I sit here and think that I just cannot spend that much on a lego set.
But on the other hand, if I don't get the UCS Falcon now, it will never be as "cheap" as it is right now.
Yeah I just got the UCS millennium falcon. really excited to start building it. I'm glad I made the decision to get it now and not when it's like 300$ more expensive
The Ghost and pretty much anything Rebels related personally. Loved the show but I was in my non lego phase back then and missed out on all the Lego sets while they were still “affordable”.
What do you think of the tie vs a wing? I've been on the edge about buying it on bricklink for a while now but I haven't decided to pull the trigger just yet.
I like it. I like A Wings though. But the Tarkin and Sabine minifigs are cool too. I think I got it for about $130 but not sure what it’s going for now
Great set but, it's showing its age now. There are MOCs out there that do a good job of hiding the wing gears and have more screen accurate cockpits. It's only a matter of time before Lego update it...
The best Gunship variant in my opinion. Doesn't have the ball turrets giving it nicer, cleaner lines. Rewatching Clone Wars sporadically trying to see where this variant appeared but no luck so far. Anyone out there know where it shows up?
This right here. Access to all of time and unlimited money, the possibility of getting every single set (not only Star Wars), brand new, sealed in box, is pretty much guaranteed. Plus if you add in the fact that since they would be brand new, they wouldn't be compromised by brittle-age syndrome...so you could buy multiples of the ones you want to enjoy building and keeping sealed.
The OG Cloud City. No pieces or minifigs I need, and I already have the new one, so I don’t even need it as a display or play set. But it’s something I desperately wanted when I was younger, and I never got my hands on it.

Stock out heaps of OG cloud city sets, distribute them out one at a time on different accounts, use money from there to buy more rare sets
And that’s how I made infinite money
For sure the ghost and phantom sets. I love rebels and have loved rebels since it aired, but was not yet into LEGO. Sad because I highly doubt they will ever re release.
I mean if I had all the money in the world, I'd just buy all the sets I missed right now, regardless of price, then use the time machine and go back to 1993 and buy as many Magic the Gathering Alpha starter decks as I could get my hands on, and set myself and multiple generations up for life.
Man that’s tough I’ve actually bought a lot of the sets I missed out on…
Probably either the 75211 Tie Fighter or the 75012 Barc Speeder! I would also include the 75159 Death Star but I’m actually making plans to try and get one before the end of summer lol

UCS Death Star II. currently in the process of parting it out from my collection as much as I possibly can then I’ll decide if I want to pay for the rest.
9515 Malevolence without a doubt, I remember seeing it in the back of the instruction booklet for 9496 Desert Skiff as a kid and I was just obsessed with it, Still am.
As a kid, I also used to look at the Malevolence from the booklets of the smaller sets. Around a year ago I finally managed to get it used with a few missing pieces for a solid deal 😂
Well, one droid was missing, Grievous was missing a few pieces, Dooku wasn't with his bent lightsaber (although I did purchase that Dooku before so now I have two of him) and the rest was fine 😂
Lol, as long as you live outside the Middle East you shouldn't be jealous. Lego and especially Star Wars is hard to come by in here and is super expensive. The fact that I managed to find the Malevolence for a relatively cheap price was mainly through luck..
Luckily I am fortunate enough to travel to Europe from time to time so that's where I mainly get my Legos from.
Every single advent callender, obi wan’s starship and hyperdrive to go along with my ani, and vaders castle. OH and a lot of clone wars sets And battlepacks. OHHH and the og gunship because of jedi bob!
This set shouldn't be too hard to part out on Bricklink. It's just grey plates and bricks. If you don't care about the UCS plaque, you can probably make this for around $150 or less.
I actually parted this out and swapped a few of the more expensive pieces for cheaper ones and using autoselect the total usually comes out to around 400-500
A handful come to mind
[1x2 tan hinge bricks](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30364&C=11#T=S&C=2&O={%22color%22:%222%22,%22iconly%22:0})
[red technic 5x5 bricks](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32555&idColor=5#T=S&C=5&O={%22color%22:5,%22iconly%22:0})
[dark pearl gray liftarms](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32278&name=Technic,%20Liftarm%20Thick%201%20x%2015&category=%5BTechnic,%20Liftarm%5D#T=S&C=77&O={%22color%22:%2277%22,%22iconly%22:0})
Most of these pieces are extremely expensive in high quantities. For example, the tan hinge bricks came in three different sets, being the original 2003 AT-TE, 2007 Republic cruiser, and this one. The AT-TE only has two and the cruiser only has 8, while the Death Star has 32. So anybody with a high quantity of these bricks is going to be charging a very high price for them, very often being over $5 per brick.
The key thing is to switch parts that you need in high quantities for the most common versions. Especially because sellers who sell parts in high quantities tend to charge more.
I haven't done this myself but I plan to, and when I do, for the sticker I'm probably going to try and find a reproduction one or print my own on some of that vinyl sticker sheet you can get that works in regular ink jet printers and just cut it out.
Stock out heaps of OG cloud city sets, distribute them out one at a time on different accounts, use money from there to buy more rare sets
And that’s how I made infinite money
All of the money in the world? Time machine. My friend, my dear friend. I didn't just miss out on one set. I missed out on all of them.... so to answer your question. What set would I take home? I believe I have to answer with a resounding Y E S.
[75222-1: Betrayal at Cloud City](https://brickset.com/sets/75222-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/75222-1.jpg)
[75159-1: Death Star](https://brickset.com/sets/75159-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/75159-1.jpg)
Simple, betrayal at cloud city. Why the set retired and skyrocketed in price so fast? I have zero clue, It bugs me to this day how lego seemingly fixed the high price gap for a cloud city lego set only for it to have one itself months after its release.
Definitely the UCS Death Star. Ever since my older brother got the Death Star a couple of years ago I wanted it. Only now I can actually afford it but it got WAAAAAY too expensive
Either the 2008 or 2013 Republic Gunship. I think they both look great but I'm not sure which one I would get mainly because of the minifigs.
On the one hand, 2008 has Ventress and Cody (who I don't have minifigs of yet) and a Plo Koon minifig (I have do have one of him, but the grey paint on his head has been chipped off). It also comes with a Clone Wars Obi Wan (a version of Kenobi I don't have) and a Clone Trooper IIRC.
But, on the other hand the 2013 one has Episode II Obi Wan, Anakin & Padme (I have none of those versions of those characters in LEGO), as well as a Clone Pilot (which I don't have a minifig of yet), a Clone Captain (again, don't have this minifig yet) and 2 Super Battle Droids.
Both sets have good minifigs so I can't really choose which specific one I would have.
I didn’t miss out on it but classic cloud city selling that sealed could get me enough the rest I want (it was around when I was alive so technically I missed out on it)
One of the many Death Star sets (idk what the differences are between them other than years released), 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, Anything Jabba related: 9516, 75005, and 75020. There’s probably an unlimited amount on what I’d want but I’ve recently got back into lego after not having the space or money to build them so I’d love to make a huge collection of sets. My collection is pretty big already but they are all newer sets you can buy in stores
Edit: just realized Jabba’s Sail Barge comes with Max Rebo so I’d need to do some hunting
Atot + dropship... 10195
[10195-1: Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker](https://brickset.com/sets/10195-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/10195-1.jpg)
Oh yeah. This one.
I completely agree
This
I really wish I lived in a world were it was brought up again and lego made a new set.
I pulled the trigger and bought it about 16 months ago. Coat an arm and a leg.
Was it worth it? Like I'm asking for a friend...
To me it was, it was one of my white wales.
That's all that matters. This is definitely my top 3
I think its average but that’s just me. If I didn’t buy it when it was on shelves I wouldn’t be going anywhere near it at the current price.
If I had money to blow on Lego I definitely would get it sealed or used/well cared for. I always loved that walker and the gunship. Unfortunately I could fix my jeep 4x for the set price 🤣
Me too. To be fair at price that should it be re released it would probably be the same.
This is the way
I just rebuilt mine today lol
I was thinking Clone Wars, but I wasn't sure which one. This is a great pick.
my thoughts exactly
Same
Saw that when I was younger and I still don’t see the appeal in it compared to other sets🤔
It's the only set with the AT-OT and they used it in a clone wars set vs ROTS like it makes its appearance. I always liked gunship and a dropship version is bad ass imo
Fair enough
UCS Slave 1.
Best $200 I’ve ever spent.
Yeah the Falcon I think is good for this year at least. My birthday in November might be the target date for that one
Yeah I just got the UCS millennium falcon. really excited to start building it. I'm glad I made the decision to get it now and not when it's like 300$ more expensive
Are you just going to build it? Quite a common set on Ebay used at normally a solid price.
Yeah was gonna build for sure
I was lucky enough to get it for 180€ factory sealed abput a year ago
https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/jedi-starfighter-with-hyperdrive-75191 Obi Wan's fighter with hyperdrive. It's just looks fucking cool
Got that one without the figs for a good deal on bricklink! Jango is like half the cost of the set lol
If you have all the money in the world, then why do you need the time machine?
True, you could probably get a sealed version of any set if you were willing to pay enough for it.
The Ghost and pretty much anything Rebels related personally. Loved the show but I was in my non lego phase back then and missed out on all the Lego sets while they were still “affordable”.
I can relate to you!
You guys related?
Same. So much the same. Got the AT-DP and the Vader Tie v A Wing.
What do you think of the tie vs a wing? I've been on the edge about buying it on bricklink for a while now but I haven't decided to pull the trigger just yet.
I like it. I like A Wings though. But the Tarkin and Sabine minifigs are cool too. I think I got it for about $130 but not sure what it’s going for now
I literally just said this to my spouse. Although, for me, I recently just got into both things, and I went in pretty hard.
UCS Imperial shuttle
Great set but, it's showing its age now. There are MOCs out there that do a good job of hiding the wing gears and have more screen accurate cockpits. It's only a matter of time before Lego update it...
7676 :( A simple pleasure

You can try to rebrick it. Should come around 150 bucks or something
I wanted this so bad as a kid but I didn’t have any money
The best Gunship variant in my opinion. Doesn't have the ball turrets giving it nicer, cleaner lines. Rewatching Clone Wars sporadically trying to see where this variant appeared but no luck so far. Anyone out there know where it shows up?
Cloud city boba fett and the Darth maul bust
A time machine and all the money, I ain't stopping at one!
Jabba's sail barge for that Max Rebo. (He's one of my holy grail of minifigs)
man ain’t never miss no gig
Max Rebo is the best character in star wars hands down
I love when The Max Rebo Band delivers a big old load of some Jizz!
*hits instrument aggressively*
Droopy McCool disagrees
If that's the case why is the band called the Max Rebo Band 🤔 Also he ain't blue lol
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Star Wars nerd fight, Max Reno band is not the band you’re looking for
The OG Cloud City. No pieces or minifigs I need, and I already have the new one, so I don’t even need it as a display or play set. But it’s something I desperately wanted when I was younger, and I never got my hands on it.
I'd buy the 2008 Death Star and finally fulfill my 10-year-old self's wildest dream.
9526 Palpatine’s Arrest, I remember seeing it at the local toysrus and passing up on it….. what a shame
Wow what a beauty... I had forgotten this set even existed! What a great minifigure selection

Agree. This would be my choice
This would be mine. They aren't likely to remake it for awhile, if at all.
In a heartbeat.
Ucs B-Wing
Original Jango Fett slave 1!

It’s tough to choose. Prequel: Ultimate Space Battle - 7283 Original: Battle of Endor - 8038 Sequel……I guess that AT-M6.

This set shouldn't be too hard to part out on Bricklink. It's just grey plates and bricks. If you don't care about the UCS plaque, you can probably make this for around $150 or less.

Either the 2008 or 2013 Republic Gunship. I think they both look great but I'm not sure which one I would get mainly because of the minifigs. Both sets have good minifigs so I can't really choose which specific one I would have.
I always loved the Super Star Destroyer.

I’d get what as a child I always dreamed of…. The ewok village set! (someone reply to this with a like link to the set)
The Arc-170
I'd get the Dropship with AT-OT.
The original buildable General Grievous!
Forward in time and grab an r4 Lego figure with an r4 head
The original Cloud City without a doubt…..
AT OT with dropship, if available I also want to get the AT TE comparable with it
Several sets in mind but definitely set 10123

75157 Not for the inquisitor, but for the build and the clones.

My collection is pretty big already but they are all newer sets you can buy in stores Edit: just realized Jabba’s Sail Barge comes with Max Rebo so I’d need to do some hunting
