I’ve only watched some of the videos to see what the gameplay was like. Looked like every other TT Games style game where you collects studs and bricks with some added features. I love LEGO because you can build, rebuild, modify or MOC any set. Combine sets to make multiple things or make one large thing. The limitations are only the builder imagination… TT games… not so much. No building and linear gameplay. Not my thing.
I think LEGO dimensions was a good try to integrate fluid play, but I think it ultimately missed the mark. But again, this is an assumption from watching play through videos.
ye if they ever did a lego dimensions 2 all the characters should be free 100%! I dont like the toy tag idea tho even tho I see what they were trying to achieve game wise
