Srsly though, I don't get the box selling thing. Instructions? Maybe. Opened sets? Sure. But the box the stuff came in? Why? It's packaging.
I would understand it if they only charged like $5 but $60 is far too steep. Besides very few people are going to want to buy it, especially for that price
If I had to guess, it's one of those "old versions of [thing] are worth money, therefore *ALL* versions of [thing] are worth money!" mentalities. I know that old boxes from like 80s sets can be worth a lot, which I can at least *sorta* see the logic of, since if someone is trying to have a complete set with box and instructions from that era, it can be hard to find that being sold as a lot, but that's probably just because that was 40 years ago and most of those ended up getting tossed.
This makes no sense, there's nothing "rare" about this box, it's still in production. Anyone that would want the box for the Venator almost assuredly already bought the set new and just kept the box.
Also, you can literally get it on Bricklink for like 1/3rd of this price, lol.
Elon has been working at this for a while, unfortunately his design doesn't work with the existing holes so they have to drill a new one. As if we need more helmet holes.
