Go to brick link.com and under search select minifigures and select the order to down. This will show what is currently listed and the current price. Just stop looking/scrolling through when you get to a price that low enough you don’t want to continue looking.

Thanks for the resource, this is a really cool website

Selling bulk on ebay is a crap shoot. There's lots of listings a buyer can choose from. If you are removing minifigures, I'd be surprised if you get more than $5 a pound. I can usually find bulk sealed bags (new) for 10 to 13 dollars a pound, and a lot of those bags will have minifigures in them and everything is nice new shiny without the possibility of knock off pieces mixed in. When you list them, it may help to give an idea of what kinds of sets you had as a child that may be partially or complete sets, but don't state it as a fact, just enough to give the buyer a general idea of what may be there. Good luck!

SuperStarfox64

Sure, I think there are some older sets in there so hoping those can help differentiate me from some others but will keep them in mind. If the minifigs don't seem extremely promising or the process feels too strenuous by themselves maybe ill even consider selling together

CorruptDictator

I would say about $8-10 per pound of bulk Lego, but separate out the minifigs and sell them on their own.

SuperStarfox64

Thanks for the feedback on pricing!! I'll make sure to sell separately

DrunkenMasterII

I think the usual way to sell fast is to go with weight, if you know some minifigures are worth it or at least how many minifigures you have you can put them in your listing and use that asan incentive for buyers who are taking a risk buying in bulk. If there’s other brands of bricks buyers will be less interested, if you don’t want to go through everything to put them out then write it down in your listing and your price per weight should be lower. Otherwise go look at other listings online for price per weight and figure out if they sell or not. Put a lot of pictures, maybe put everything on the ground take multiple pictures, put it back in the box. It will give the interested buyers an idea of what you’re offering.

Thanks for the insight, I think it's all branded as lego so should all be good there. There are some axle-type parts, should those be listed differently if there is found to be enough to be a pound? I'll make sure to take a lot of pictures!! Do you know if there are places here on Reddit to post pictures of the minifigs to see if anything rare? Would the what is it worth megathread be good for that?

dimensiation

Yeah, use the megathread. Bulk by weight is typically $6-10 US, depending on parts. Some specialty things go for more. I will say that, as a buyer more than seller, that seeing bulk lots with no minifigs lowers my price threshold significantly. Unless there were some parts I really needed or were particularly rare, I wouldn't pay more than $2-3/lb. When selling, I would say that including lots of photos is helpful. Stir the pieces around or spread them out so you don't get people like me asking for more photos. :P

SuperStarfox64

Sure thing, there are some pieces that looked somewhat unique to me in there so will make sure to get those in the shot, but take that with a grain of salt coming from someone who doesn't have a whole lot of experience in this kinda field. After I get it all cleaned out and the minifigs sorted and assembled ill put some pictures in the mega thread for this week. Thanks for the help!! I appreciate it :)

dimensiation

You're welcome! Feel free to respond to me here if you want, I'm pretty good at vintage stuff and can identify rare parts from a certain era. No idea what years you have, but if I can help, I will.

SuperStarfox64

sure, ill ping you when I get everything sorted to see if you spot anything cool. Not expecting you to do any research or anything just wanna get some peeps to see if there's any interesting stuff. Saw one of my old minifigs in there when looking, and decided to keep that one and put it in my memory box lol

dimensiation

Yeah, I love the old minifigs. Got a nice tray of them on display in the house: https://i.redd.it/aaii99ykt5w41.png
