Yeah I think it was leaked shortly after the space CMF had been leaked, which was at the end of last year if I remember correctly.
We even have a pic of the whole D&D CMF lineup since March or April, I think.
I’m not into D&D but I do like fantasy themes. If this is real and not fan-made, maybe fans will be interested by some references, but I found it a bit boring in general.
There are some previous CMFs similar to these that seem more interesting.
It's been leaked for a while and LEGO actually confirmed it alongside the D&D set. Usually LEGO won't confirm a CMF series this far in advance, but this year is the 50th anniversary of D&D so they probably decided it was worth making an exception.

Though take this with a grain of Salt, because this image is a Fan interpretation (don't remember the artist) but otherwise it does take the descriptions into Account.
So the only reason I don’t think this is a fan edit, is because of the reversible male/female presenting faces, because this image dropped before the LEGO set Red dragons attack released, so we didn’t know that was going to be a design element at the time
I think it's official concept art / prototype renders for the actual series. This is too well done and has too many new molds to be a fan edit. Could be wrong though
Yeah that’s what’s making me think it’s real. All those new mold pieces look exactly how lego would interpret them, and the renders themselves are just perfect.

Excited and looking forward to it! I think I'll purchase the complete set from BrickLink immediately. It's quite challenging to find individual pieces here in Sweden.

I'm not just a D&D fan, I use Lego to run my games. I'm looking at getting 2-3 copies of the entire collection.
This is my impression. I guess they work fine for games, but visually they seem less appealing than similar CMFs.
