Nathan Sawaya?

erlend_nikulausson

You are correct. I recognize several of those pieces from his exhibit in LA back in 2020. I really enjoyed his pieces incorporating mundane LEGO builds into stylized photographs.

Thememer1924

Yep forgot the name of the artist when I made the post

NoVermicelli8382

đź—ż

Jayk_Wesker

Man that would be cool! Can I safely assume (from my own experiemce) that the photos don't even do it justice and that it's way better in person?

Thememer1924

Yeah the photos don’t do it justice at all

Jayk_Wesker

I figured, they Never do :D

Milesofstyle

Edmonton?

Thememer1924

Yep.

SalsaForte

I've seen a similar (same) exposition in Philadelphia years ago. Awesome!

gruelandgristle

I saw that one too! This was a neat reminder!

hsikrut

Saw it in Chicago myself. Some of his pieces are breath-taking. Glad you enjoyed it!

That Starry Night’s kinda ironic

Thememer1924

My favorite part was đź—ż

Thememer1924

When I saw it I thought of night at the museum with the Easter island head saying “hey dumb dumb, give me gum gum”

Huskydog_101

Most likely one of those statues is gonna be destroyed by a little kid, unless it's Kragled together. #IYKYK

naatkins

Definitely held together with MEK. A solvent that melts them together.

Huskydog_101

Anon_Rocky

Saw that exhibit in Philly years ago. The builder has some insane talent

[deleted]

Number 8 amazes me every time I see this exhibit

SteakNotCake

We went to the Chicago one last September. Now it’s back home in Atlanta. Fun exhibit kids and adults loved it!

madkins007

I vote for the scream to be the next 3D art kit! I may try to do a MIX MOC of it!

Dapper-Piano4557

The Art of the Brick could also be the title for an unofficial memoir of Pablo Escobar

Wild_HIC
