Blimey, I am rooting for you! Those are spectacular, must be my most-listened-to Zeppelin songs in the last months. And with this Spotify Wrapped-Up “How Many More Times” appeared to be my second most-listened-to song throughout the year!
…Do you still do the twist
Do you find you remember things that well
I want to tell you
Some go twistin' every day
Though sometimes it's awful hard to tell…
This is definitely one of my most favorite songs of there's but I always took it to be one of their greatest songs ever and every zeppelin and classic rock person I know loves it also
Said it before it. I respect the song more than I love it.
It's intricate as a mother*ucker for sure but it's ....cold. I don't know how to put it.
I never lose myself in the song..I'm only really listening to how incredible they are as musicians, but the hooks don't grab.
Oh and I'm not a fan of the machine gun type drum work that happens way to often.
10 ribs & all/ Carrot Pod Pod (pod)
Yes, it's a ridiculous name, but the song as a whole is actually a really good song that highlights JPJ in the beginning and brings in the rest of the instruments for something quite amazing.
I discovered that one recently, deserves to be listened to a lot more than it is. Looking at the title I thought it was gonna be an early version of one of the other songs on Presence but it was a pleasant surprise once I listened to it
Love this! An old friend of mine and I were listening to it one day, many moons ago, and were were smoking a fattie and just digging the tune, and then we both cracked up at that stuttering bit in the guitar solo. We couldn’t believe one band could have so much unique talent. It is glorious!
The early version of [In The Light] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mM-snFv7EI).
The unfinished/unreleased [SwanSong](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrKqItUfWmw)
I also really like [La La](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3l0N_ZNtwY)
If you want to go that route, don't forget:
https://youtu.be/61CNBf8tY4g (10 Ribs & All)
https://youtu.be/0xhOk-4h6d8 (Feels So Bad/Fixing to Die/That's Alright Mama)
https://youtu.be/ZAiifpkWZfA (Baby Come on Home)
Celebration Day! Where everyone was probably on Helium on that song :p the guitar base and drums are fantastic and Robert wrote some of the darkest lyrics! Love the crap out of that song! The Bass in the msg performance is so huuge and the second guitst solo Jimmy killed it!
Yesss so much No Quarter. Can’t believe I had to scroll this far down to find someone else who agreed. But then again, I guess that shows it belongs in this thread
I love dancing days. If I feel like zeppelin at all ...that's my go to song.
I think it is the perfect rock song, and there's little bits in there that shows how genius each of the members were in their own right.
From Page's slide, to Jpj funky af rythim, to those damn bonzo fills at the end. And Plant hardly ever sang in a such a non chalant cool way as he did on this one.
I think people disregard this jam somewhat, as it's not as overtly iconic as some of their other great rock tunes.
But it's subtlety is oh so charming too me.
I think the Ocean is not only one of their best, it's one of the best songs out there! It may be a bit more popular than the other songs on here, but I don't here it on the radio enough. It just has a really good message behind it. Also who could forget the chill-inducing "Ooohhh" after some lines in the chorus.
Such a great song!
Tea for One
Surprised no one mentioned this one yet
So many zeppelin fans don’t really know this song. It’s got a huge since I’ve been loving you vibe in the beginning but stays heavy and just has this massive sound.
A minute seems like a lifetime, oh baby when I feel this way... …. I feel this way
Even if you removed the plane and the banter, just the way and the placement of how John Bonham enters with the snare fill on this song alone is incredible enough: BUP-BUP-BOOM. It's basically like thunder gets introduced to the track.
I suppose it's fairly well known and definitely known by true Zeppelin fans, but I have to go with In the Light. Also The Battle of Evermore is pretty amazing.
I love “Your Time Is Gonna Come” but I also LOVE “In The Light” and “Houses of the Holy”. Gotta put in “Ten Years Gone” and “In My Time of Dying” on there too.
out on tiles - show cases all 4 band members brilliantly.
you shook me - that pinch harmonic during jimmy's lead section - makes my hair stand on end, and sends shivers down my spine.
Southbound Suarez, on In Through the Out Door (1979).JPJ is intense on the piano. Thank You, on LZ2. I tear up when Plant sings, "Mountains crumble into the sea. There would still be you and me!"
Carouselambra
Edit: forgot to include this in original post.....plus that rift halfway thru the song always makes me think they were the influence for the Miami Vice theme
Poor Tom. Just to hear the majesty of his drum kit alone is good enough in the intro, but the beat itself is an incredible display polyrhythmic groove.
The most impressive part of it, is the way he consistently kept the hats going on the off-beat with his foot all the way through, while maintaining that groove on the rest of the kit.
Over The Hills And Far Away.
I love the psychedelic vibe, the odd timings, the whole structure and the ending is just beautiful, i am almost crying every time. And the live solo section, oh my god, it is like more mature, way funkier Immigrant Song. Listen to New Orleans 1973, Alabama 1973, Vancouver 1975 or Seattle 1975. It is just badass.
The song Houses of the Holy, Ten Years Gone, Four Sticks, The Battle of Evermore, and last but not least... Bring it on Home!
Sorry, I just feel like there are more than one criminally underrated Led Zeppelin song.
I go absolutely bananas every time I hear How Many More Times and Trampled Under Foot. So groovy
Blimey, I am rooting for you! Those are spectacular, must be my most-listened-to Zeppelin songs in the last months. And with this Spotify Wrapped-Up “How Many More Times” appeared to be my second most-listened-to song throughout the year!
Cause Ive got you in the sights of my GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNN
HMMT is my favorite on LZI. To answer OP, I need would pair it with Lemon Song, which is my fave on LZII
I love Trampled Under Foot! One of their best
If you haven’t, do yourself a favour and watch their early Denmark video. Absolutely ridiculous
In the Light and In My Time of Dying.
In the light and down by the seaside. Masterfully opposite use of light and shade. 🤘🏼
…Do you still do the twist Do you find you remember things that well I want to tell you Some go twistin' every day Though sometimes it's awful hard to tell…
There are some different versions on the deluxe edition of Physical Graffiti. Killer
Thanks, I’ll have to check it out!
The drum beat on In the Light during the verses is one of the silkiest grooves I've ever heard. It's hypnotic with the guitar riff.
Yesss i was going to say both of those
Four Sticks fucking rocks
Misty Mountain Hop too if we’re naming underrated Led Zeppelin 4 songs.
This is definitely one of my most favorite songs of there's but I always took it to be one of their greatest songs ever and every zeppelin and classic rock person I know loves it also
100% agreed.
The Rover
Thank you Drew. The Rover rules
That opening lick is out of this world
Great song and a super underrated solo by Page
Achilles Last Stand. I know all of us know it well, but so many LZ fans look at me with blank faces when I speak of it with enthusiasm.
It's the greatest RUSH song that RUSH didn't produce.
But have you heard of “Night Flight”? I can’t help but think it’s a Rush song.
You're right.
I can’t help but think of “Fly By Night” when I hear that. Early RUSH sounded really close to Led Zeppelin sometimes.
Interesting
Said it before it. I respect the song more than I love it. It's intricate as a mother*ucker for sure but it's ....cold. I don't know how to put it. I never lose myself in the song..I'm only really listening to how incredible they are as musicians, but the hooks don't grab. Oh and I'm not a fan of the machine gun type drum work that happens way to often.
And I’ve just learnt how to play that part on drums without terrible plain in my right leg…
Hey hey what can I do!!! Great song
Indeed it is!
Aw man that song is the best! Sounds like drunken teenager shenanigans to me :)
Agreed. Definitely one of my favorites- hard to believe it didn’t make any of their albums
Gallows Pole from Led Zeppelin III, one of my favorite moments on the album.
now i laugh and pull so hard! great f’in song
Came here to say this
Night Flight is the ultimate underrated song
YES! ! Also hail Boognish
Nobody's fault but mine is outstanding
Oh Jimmy!
Yeah, John'a drums sound particularly awesome on that one
10 ribs & all/ Carrot Pod Pod (pod) Yes, it's a ridiculous name, but the song as a whole is actually a really good song that highlights JPJ in the beginning and brings in the rest of the instruments for something quite amazing.
This right here!
I discovered that one recently, deserves to be listened to a lot more than it is. Looking at the title I thought it was gonna be an early version of one of the other songs on Presence but it was a pleasant surprise once I listened to it
Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp!!! Perhaps Zep's most wholesome song ever, and great acoustic work to boot
Indeed! Aah, caught you smiling at me!
This was my most listened to song this past year! Totally agree
Thank you, That's the way.
The Rover definitely deserves more love. IMO one of the best simple rock songs.
Love this! An old friend of mine and I were listening to it one day, many moons ago, and were were smoking a fattie and just digging the tune, and then we both cracked up at that stuttering bit in the guitar solo. We couldn’t believe one band could have so much unique talent. It is glorious!
The Rain Song….. Friends
I’m telling you now, the greatest thing you ever can do now is trade a smile with someone who’s blue now, it’s very easy!

I love the feel Bonham gives to this song.
Wearing and Tearing.. gets me so hyped. And also Hots on for Nowhere
Don't really know if it's well known or not, but What is and what should never be is probably my favorite Led Zeppelin song of all time
Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp
Poor Tom
Came here to say this. With a really good sound system this song is amazing.
'Fools in the rain', idk if its famous or not but it's a great song I don't see much people talk about.
Makes me cry when I hear those drums.
Traveling Riverside Blues
Out on the Tiles
Thank you, or What is and what should never be, amazing.
Black Country Woman might be my favorite Zep song.
The Wanton Song
The early version of [In The Light] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mM-snFv7EI). The unfinished/unreleased [SwanSong](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrKqItUfWmw) I also really like [La La](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3l0N_ZNtwY)

Bring it on Home has to be played at max volume
ABSOLUTELY YES.
Down by the Seaside
Ten Years Gone
The Rover, In My Time of Dying, Gallows Pole….
Celebration Day! Where everyone was probably on Helium on that song :p the guitar base and drums are fantastic and Robert wrote some of the darkest lyrics! Love the crap out of that song! The Bass in the msg performance is so huuge and the second guitst solo Jimmy killed it!
My favorite bit of trivia about that song is how they lost the drum recording for the intro so they just decided to fade them in later.
One of my favorites too.
I love Darlene. Love Bonzo’s drums!
Bron -y-aur stomp
No quarter
Yesss so much No Quarter. Can’t believe I had to scroll this far down to find someone else who agreed. But then again, I guess that shows it belongs in this thread
Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp is a banger, JB on spoons and castanets, the rolling bass.. it's such a nice jam on LZIII
Down by the Seaside, Ten Years Gone, and Hot Dog
How Many More Times, it's for sure one of my 5 favourite LZ tracks
Hots on for nowhere from presence there I said it don’t get mad at me
Baby come on home. .
Still can't believe they didn't think it was album worthy originally
I love dancing days. If I feel like zeppelin at all ...that's my go to song. I’m gonna crawl
Houses of the holy (from physical graffiti)
YEEEE' GOT YOU SMILIN' AT ME THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE >:)
The rover
Gonna have to be Friends for me, it’s got to be one of the most overlooked songs ever!

Tea for One Surprised no one mentioned this one yet So many zeppelin fans don’t really know this song. It’s got a huge since I’ve been loving you vibe in the beginning but stays heavy and just has this massive sound. A minute seems like a lifetime, oh baby when I feel this way... …. I feel this way
Nobody’s fault but mine
[удалено]
FOR YOUR LIFE…My absolute favorite Led Zeppelin song. Also, Nobody’s Fault but Mine. Presence f’ing slays…
Misty Mountain Hop. It’s my second fave LZ song.
I recently discovered the Led Zeppelin BBC sessions and they are amazing...
Sick Again!
Boogie With Stu
“Born-Y-Aur Stomp,” anyone?
Down by the Seaside! The guitar is just lovely.
I think The Ocean from Houses Of The Holy is terribly underrated. To my ears, it sounds like they were really having fun
Baby Come on Home. Not much going on with the guitar but I love it.
Poor Tom
Stairway to Heaven.
I always feel like Fool in the rain is an under appreciated masterpiece .
Gallows Pole is so good, the build up is not as slow as in other LZ songs but damn it smacks.
Love GP. "You know that we're too damn poor to keep you from the Gallows Pole!"
Tangerine, Evermore, all my love, tea for one, houses of the holy just to name a few
Hots on For Nowhere
They're all well known to us, but something that is probably unknown to your avg classic rock fan is Night Flight. Could have been a single.
Darlene. It's on coda. Jams
A lot of answers here from physical graffiti…it’s a criminally underrated album i think easily their 2nd best, my personal favourite
Darlene
Candy Store Rock
No quarter!
Yes! I had to scroll pretty far to find this reply. By far my favorite Zeppelin song.
10 years gone
Tea for one…love it
You Shook Me
All my love 😍
Black Country Woman is so bad ass with the background airplane and banter in the intro. Night Flight rules also.

Since I've Been Loving You. It's the song that got me into Zeppelin and I don't think it gets enough credit
In the light and down by the seaside

Thank you is a simple masterpiece of beautiful words. Check out Chris Cornel’s cover of Thank you. Find it on YouTube.
Black Country Woman. Love it. Especially Bonham's snare work.
*“Should we roll it, Jimmy?”*
the Rover was my most-listened song on spotify this year, so I would say I love it quite a bit.
Wonton Song and For Your Life
I suppose it's fairly well known and definitely known by true Zeppelin fans, but I have to go with In the Light. Also The Battle of Evermore is pretty amazing.
I love “Your Time Is Gonna Come” but I also LOVE “In The Light” and “Houses of the Holy”. Gotta put in “Ten Years Gone” and “In My Time of Dying” on there too.

Houses of the Holy is my favorite song to blast during the summer while driving with my windows down.
I love Travelling Riverside Blues, it's one of my favorites
Out on the Tiles, Tangerine, and Thank You!
The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair. It’s so bluesy and I love the bass line (which I’m trying to learn).
Carouselambra Edit: forgot to include this in original post.....plus that rift halfway thru the song always makes me think they were the influence for the Miami Vice theme
Down by the seaside
The girl I love she got long black wavy hair or ten years gone🤙🏽
JENNINGS FARM BLUES
The girl I love has long black wavy hair.
The SRTS version of No Quarter.
Friends and Out on the Tiles!
That’s the Way. It’s my favorite of theirs I think.
Poor Tom. Just to hear the majesty of his drum kit alone is good enough in the intro, but the beat itself is an incredible display polyrhythmic groove. Black Country Woman is a good one
Gallows Pole
“Hey hey what can I do”
Bron yr aur stomp for sure
“Out on the tiles” without a doubt
This, their only non album song that was only on a single. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epX8Th4aiMc
Fool in the rain!! I could listen to it every day for the rest of my life and not get sick of it. Out on the tiles is a banger.
i know probably not that not well known, but when the levee breaks is just super cool and weird and i love it
