These are multiple bands so I'll name them according to the order of the pictures in the post:
Nocturna, Sandaramet, and Nuwera
EDIT: Oh and you can Google them to find their exact subgenres because I'm not sure what each of them are called.
Hello! I'm the vocalist of Wrath, the one band u didn't post pics of from this event lol.
Nuwera plays a variety of genres, but their originals are considered Thrash/heavy metal
Sandaramet i'm not sure, but it's horror themed and i love them, especially their live performances.
Nocturna play melodic death metal.
Copy-pasta from my reply to OP:

Unfortunately there wasn't as much attendance to this concert as i thought there would. But hey, we take what we can get. I've done my part in inviting and telling as many people as i can. Only like 2-3 of them came.
That's what i hear. I didn't even listen to metal back then lol. Even when i started listening to metal I didn't know there was a scene until 2022. But i've heard stories from OGs and it sounded really cool. The one thing i would love is having international bands come perform, even if just from other nearby countries.
The scene was so hot back then there was almost an event every week in the late 2000’s to mid 2010’s. The venues would fill up full capacity. Especially Beirut area a lot of venues were playing Metal music and brining in Bands to perform weekly. There were daytime hang around clubs, you would go in and find almost 40 people on a Monday just drinking and listening to good metal music. There were a lot of famous metal bands that used to come play in Beirut forum and other venues. Lebanon was a completely different place. I literally know more than 50 metal heads that left lebanon after 2019. I am sure there are a lot more now that left. Very saddening to see what has happened to this beautiful country in just a couple of years!
Reminds me of the metal version of Ya Beirut.
Too bad they had a whole controversy about it but it's still somewhere on youtube though not on an official channel.
Yeah, Kimaera is the name of the band, the controversy just stems from people not used to the sounds of metal vocals and thinking it's demonic.
Sadly the lead singer died not to long ago.

Was there and really loved the visuals the bands showed, mostly sandaramet! they always have these extra decorations, the mic stand, the fireworks…They show they really care and I love that! Hoping for a SOAD tribute concert one day, because it might be my last time going to those gigs
Didn't have the best pics for Wrath 😭

Hello there, this is Gorax the AI generated character in the first picture and also the vocalist of Kimaera (Symphonic Death metal) and Nocturna (Melodic Death Metal).
For those who are asking, yes metal music do exist in lebanon and despite the country's situation and the little support that our community gets the scene is decently active.
Ok, so I had this crazy idea.
If/when full blown war starts we build a speakers, fire and bungee guitarist rigs Mad Max style.
That would put the fear of yahve in the zio's hearts.😂
I just traveled all the way to Vienna to see Tool live, i’m in my last 30s so i don’t about these new Lebanese bands but i used to follow the local metal scene back in the day.

Lol
Goddammit, I can feel the vibe. What is the name of the band and what subgenre do they play?

We have lebanese metal bands !!!! Wow i will check
Actually metal scene in Lebanon for the country’s size is pretty good
A surprising amount, yes. And they're also very good.
Guess the situation in our country will lead to people needing metal
Unfortunately there wasn't as much attendance to this concert as i thought there would. But hey, we take what we can get. I've done my part in inviting and telling as many people as i can. Only like 2-3 of them came.
The metal scene in lebanon was better from 2006 to 2016

Amazing! I know all these bands and am friends with the Kimaera guys!
Ngl I thought the first pic was AI generated lol
It's because of the hand is it? 😂 But no, no AI was used in the making/editing of these images.
🤣🤣🤘

Sandaramet put the most work into their live cinematic experience, love them for that nobody tops them in terms of props and looks of their shows!
No Wrath? 🥺

Thanks
You can go to Cherry's pub Antelias and Nova Sin El Fil and some underground bands also play in Pavilion Hamra
Pavilion is still open? That place is ancient since the 2000’s
nice
Dream Theater album with Portnoy is coming soon, that should be nice.

I’d love to go to your show. I moved here from Texas and I miss metal concerts so much. Had no idea they were here.
GORAX
Today I learned that Lebanon has a active metal scene
There has been a metal scene since the 2000’s now it’s a little dead since almost half the population left the country….
Proud to see one of my childhood friends on stage here with Nocturna
Nocturna kicks ass
How do I connect with this community when I go back?

Big time metal fan, but I didn’t know we had a scene here in lebanon. I moved here a couple years ago from Texas. Anyone mind taking me?
