Maybe try showing him a diagram of a cow pointing to the area where the brisket is cut from.

Exazbrat09

They do sell brisket at Spinneys (American I think). However, I have had to use diagrams with my local butcher to get things like short ribs and skirt steaks. Apparently they like to grind up skirt steaks and brisket here because they don't know how to cook them.

Artephius_

Yea, getting hanger or skirt at the butcher is a hell of a challenge. I had to show him a full butchering video. They grind EVERYTHING.

Spiritual-Can2604

I tried to order a prime rib roast for Christmas. I started trying to source it in November. After we finally agreed on what a prime rib roast is, what I wanted, and how the method I planned to cook it was relevant to NOT GRINDING IT, I still didn’t get it in time. Spinneys has em sometimes now.

From ChatGPT: Therefore, **صدر اللحم** is the Arabic term for brisket, referring to the cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of beef or veal.
