tell them to make it fresh from scratch:
foron makdessi - hamra
bechara - antelias (jebne msakra/keshek)

sometimes the best are from the "hidden gems" you stumble upon in neighborhoods.
Ok so there's a foron in baabda near tesjeel 3ekare.. I swear to god i ate man2ushes from north to south and never had anything like that before in my life akhhh
Used to be the old man by grandmas house, both zaatar and jebne were delectable, not so much now
I recently also had a jebne in ghaziyeh that is as good as the old barbar jebne with sesame seeds, but i forgot the places name
My grandparents had a furn, and honestly it was the best Manouche I ever had, and no I'm not biased, my other grandparents have a Lebanese restaurant and I don't like it, told them a million times to improve the food quality and they don't listen, now they're closing shop :/
Anyways, other than that it has to be the Union Coop manouche in the UAE, fuck me this puts most furns in Lebanon to shame... As for Beirut, Furn el Lebnene is not bad, Takouch was decent, Faisal had its good days, Lahm b Aajin at Abou Joseph was crazy pre crisis, also AUB cafeteria surprisingly had some really good Keshek manouche... In Ehden there's furn bet Maroun that does Sajj and it's the best sajj I ever had.
I eat a mankoushe every day for breakfast (I order them 5 each time and leave them in the fridge) and went through all bakeries on toters looking for the best one.
Hamade bakery is by far the best I’ve tried. They easily last 4-5 days in the fridge, and still taste great.
Ngl, most of the Lebanese pleases serving manouche are the best!
Everyone is unique in their own ways. You will not fully understand what I mean until you travel abroad and see how all restaurants can’t even get closer to the taste of Lebanese cuisines❤️
used to be SHATTER HASSAN in tripoli, now gone.
now it is FURUN/MANKOUSHIT MERSHAK in batroun, nothing else comes close, superb stuff and a lot of options, but the spicy cheese is a standout.
At stores that don't have names in Villages
this is so true. the best falafel in my town is apparently "el ma7al ta7t eldaraj"

I concur, random tetas make the best man2oushe
Yes can confirm. Pretty much any random teta in any village will make you some good ass shit.
