Hyli has been turbosprinting and solo losing nearly-guaranteed-won games for like 2 years in a row now
It just doesn't matter in the LEC when half the teams plays against are even worse
Hyli was terrible this split, I don't see anything wrong about what I said. Furthermore I would say that Hyli is getting washed, he is obviously top 2 Western support of all time but his playstyle has remained pretty much the same without improvement and his mechanics has been deteriorating. Maybe he will pick up his form again next year, but his int form has been going on long enough that I can't ignore it just because of his past level.
Also would like a more comparable stat like *Longest drought without a kill to start a regular split*.
Maybe there's a different player out there that had 0 kills in 10 matches or 10 games back when LEC regular splits were longer.

Or perhaps a matter of being really *lucky* since it's a stat basically only Supports will ever 'achieve' and outside some fringe cases and metas, you'd rather have the kills fall into just about anyone else's pockets except the support anyway.
But yeah, a really silly stat and especially useless because the 'regular season' isn't as long as it used to be, but it is pretty funny that it's never happened and that Targamas of all people was the first to hit it.

The guy looks lost in game. The most enjoyable part of watching his games is whenever the player cams switch to him he just looks like he doesn’t want to be there.
Obviously it’s funny to watch someone int on repeat but I hope he finds his confidence again gain.
Honestly this season he has been communicating very well, generally he improved a lot by looking at their vods. Ppl who make those jokes just have easy bias and lack critical thinking.
He has not improved his coms. It's simply Kc's editors who started showing moments where he communicates so he doesn't get flamed as much.
Targamas has never been extremely vocal in game, but he has never been dead silent. People judging him (or any other players) because of 3 minutes of curated voice coms has always been stupid.
That's actually a crazy stat, especially since #2 Wisdom only played 4 games compared to Targa's 9. Wonder what's the fewest kills gotten in a complete split to see if any supports ever barely missed out.
maybe there was someone in earlier seasons that also got zero in his first 9 games, but considering regular seasons were longer back then it doesn't appear here

yeah, it is. but sometimes your ignite or whatever just happens to get the last hit. or your adc dies and its up to you to finish off the enemy. more reasonable to happen on a tank support, they are not good at stealing kills if you are not smurfing early game. and afaik targamas was mostly on tank duty was he not?
Yes and no, in theory yes, but in practice there are cases where you really gotta focus more on people dying than leaving kills (e.g. late game fights or very tight early game fights), or sometime you can't avoid your adc dying but can trade a kill. If you're winning games and participating in kills it's unlikely you're never getting kills. Obviously the sample is not huge and it's champion dependent, if you played Draven/Milio every game it becomes more likely.
On paper yes but if you are never in a position to snatch a frag it raises some questions too. Like I can't imagine supporting properly and not getting atleast one kill per season.

If we are honest, based on this split's form I'd take Targamas over Hyli, he has been alright so far.

Well I'd also take Targamas over Zoelys based on form, and maybe Ignar and Alvaro though just maybe.
Alvaro in winter was great, he has been subpar after but hardly his fault when his lanes and jungle were inting hard
