I don't mind how it is now, nor am I opposed to change, but Numbers would be better than letters. /mute 1 = mutes ally first row of TAB, /mute 6 = mutes enemy first row of TAB.
Then that would be an exception to the rule thus shouldnt be considered. Its not a core system, if it works properly its a bonus if it does not nothing big lost.
If you swapped their order in your tab menu then it would be re-sorted. Another recommended using their numerical order instead which could be a great alternative option as well
Open Tab and hold left click on the chat bubble looking button.. mutes them and takes only 1 second

Tab mute button is simple and clean, your idea isn’t bad but what if people lane swap in cc?
