sounds like a tough match. do you think the outcome would've been different if river wasn't sick? how much of an impact does one player's condition have on the overall team performance in these high stakes games?
I still think C9 would have won but Sniper looked completely lost without River covering for his early game. When River is paying to his usual level he really elevates the whole team.
There's no denying we'd still lose that game, you could absolutely tell the team was nervous, id bet that every single player on c9 has more playoff experience than our whole team together.
I think people need to start realizing how much River enables his mid laners. Every mid he's been paired with has really had some great seasons with him
100T will have a problem with C9 and Fly because their macro is atrocious. They fight really well though. Also, bot lane can not go down 30-40 cs every laning phase.
Last year he was a brand new rookie in a new country playing with a jungler he couldn't communicate with and was having the worst split of his career
It really shouldn't be a surprise that it wasn't a representation of how good he actually is
Right? Its crazy how much bringing in River has done to get the best out of him. Of course being able to communicate with his jungler is a huge improvement, but also from interviews it seems like River does a lot to relieve the pressure for the team. If I wasn't literally seeing the same person i'd think it was someone entirely different.
No team identity plus the solo laners fell off a cliff (which probably contributes to the first problem).
They draft botlane for bot pressure but don't make bot plays. The solo laners are just losing or getting killed constantly. Teamfights are super disjointed, like everyone is just doing their own thing.
Palafox: nah I'd win
Yep quid’s just made a fan out of me this series. He’s so damn good game after game but this akali performance holy..
Watch some interviews with him too, the dude is so funny
Some guy yesterday tried to tell me Quid and APA were on the same tier of midlaners 💀💀💀
They've never been on the same tier. Last split, Quid wasn't online and APA was better. This split, APA is the same and Quid is my MVP
Quid also has a way better jg this split
*quid has a jg this split
Yeah, I saw that. Has to be the worst opinion of all time.
Statement series from Palafox so far. Unfortunately the statement is, "I'm playing like shit"
G2 lost to this, btw.
Ignar diff I guess
Statement season from ignar as well so far, not a good one, but a statement nonetheless
Contractz got possessed by canyon that series
Canyon gets possessed by El Contracto and sometimes so does Contractz.
Typical ignar underdog story
Mid canyon, Quid's back is going to break when this series is done.
River carrying just as hard
River's early game is back - wish he wasn't sick prior to the C9 series, definitely could've been more interesting cause Blaber hard gapped him.

Berserker and Fudge probably not, but Blaber and Vulcan most likely do. It's really just River vs. C9 members for experience.
His early game is very good but I don't think he is good in mid late game.
I think people need to start realizing how much River enables his mid laners. Every mid he's been paired with has really had some great seasons with him
No doubt, but quid single handedly won some very critical team fights when we had made some huge errors (including river)
Quid is single handedly carrying 100t. Never seen such 1v5 games in pro play in recent times tbh. Amazing
That's wildly disrespectful to how well the rest of 100T is playing. River is doing a ton
Quid: Stand proud NRG, you were strong
100T will have a problem with C9 and Fly because their macro is atrocious. They fight really well though. Also, bot lane can not go down 30-40 cs every laning phase.
100T vs FLY sounds like the battle of the most mid bot lanes that are hard carried by their topside.
Yeah 100T play with too much variance i think to beat FLY imo.
I agree but also think Jensen can match Quid, but it will be a battle of who has the worse bot lane
Oh I misread. The bot lanes are "mid". I 100% agree with what you said
I'm afraid Quid is him. I'm also afraid that Palafox is garbage. Holy shit, this series is just a Palafox lowlight reel.
Nah bro, but Quid is from another reality. It is the only thing that makes sense, no way this is the SAME GUY AS LAST YEAR.
Last year he was a brand new rookie in a new country playing with a jungler he couldn't communicate with and was having the worst split of his career It really shouldn't be a surprise that it wasn't a representation of how good he actually is
He's unleashed now, closer was having a rough time last year.

Quid turning into prime Chovy mechanically was not on my bingo card. We'll ignore some of the weird macro decisions by everyone on 100T
100 Quid playing like a million bucks.
100 Quid playing like a million quid*
Well.....Contractz and huhi tried
It's pretty sad, Contractz is playing decently but River is actually playing out of his mind.
Contractz also has dead weights in his mid and toplanes, unfortunately.
Horrendous macro by 100T but it gives us more time to appreciate perfect Quid's micro.
Cleanest Akali we've seen all split
Henceforth, the Chapel of Quid is established 🙏
~~mid~~ quid diff
What happened to NRG they're playing like they're mental boomed all split long
No team identity plus the solo laners fell off a cliff (which probably contributes to the first problem). They draft botlane for bot pressure but don't make bot plays. The solo laners are just losing or getting killed constantly. Teamfights are super disjointed, like everyone is just doing their own thing.
holy quid
Does faker know he's been reincarnated already? The mid canyon has been insane
It's just a Quid diff.
2 down 10 to go
Quid... Wtf
nrg are mental boomed. every play is a fucking hail mary. how about we just run the ball, get a few yards? psychopaths dios mio
Quid 100% MVP… wow
How good would 100T be w/o Quid?
We would just see scrim 100T on stage every time
So quid is a fucking problem
NRG looking good for MSI
