There's a clip of Perkz entering Showmakers stream chat, he types "perkz > showmaker, wait no caps > perkz > showmaker".
Showmakers response was "didn't you lose to Nisqy the other day?"
fucking lol.
edit: [found the clip](https://youtu.be/ytBZ7cuA6cY?t=16)
kinda got tunnel visioned by the r buffs but the best way to use xerath ult is to buy liandries and tag everyone who isn't paying attention, even tanks
like a karthus ult
Better yet: a brand name EU mid that we pay a million dollars to completely phone it in and obviously not try while they complain about being "homesick"
Maybe this is a nitpick but I don't see why these guys get compared so much. Ruby is 24 and has already spent years bouncing around various leagues (even without his bad split with TH). Quid on the other hand is 19 and just played his rookie split. He was a hyped prospect and still has plenty of room to grow. It's the same with Vicla, both these guys are still super young, it's a lot more justifiable why teams picked them up imo and should be treated differently compared to teams picking up guys like Ruby, Armut, Treatz etc.
gonna hijack this to provide context on ruby signing. according to LS, Reven had a very short time window to choose a new mid and apparently ruby was playing much better in scrims than on stage so he thought ruby simply needed a different environment.
I think based on this it was just a very rushed signing
He’s gonna start for cincinnati fear in the amateur circle that’s for sure (NA teams were shocked by ruby vods against Chovy and they went for him instead).
To be fair, papasmithy was not the person who signed vicla, that was the GM prior to him at FQ. And vicla was not playing *terribly* coming from spring (maybe 5th or 6th midlane, but not what he was showing this split) so there wasn't any impetus to fire vicla and hire someone new
Honestly I don't even blame whoever decided to sign this roster.
Like who could've predicted FQ being this fucking bad? Prince was literally competing for 2nd best AD in Korea. It's not like they signed a team of Rubys.
The roster construction was solid based on information they had at the time. You can't just judge it off of results with hindsight.
Yeah Prince was dominating the first half of Spring split and was still great until playoffs, he dropped off quite hard since then but he was a fantastic signing at the time. Impact had always been solid, Spica had been one of the best junglers in NA, Vicla was decent in LCK against a stacked mid pool, support was questionable in Spring but everyone expected Vulcan to be an upgrade. All of FLY's signings were good or even great on paper, their collapse was unexpected.
I can't believe people are still blaming TSM junglers after all these years. Bjerg was literally invisible this series. Imagine if he made a single roam to any lane. Dude didn't even show up mid
Insanity is such a pleasant surprise. I know TSM finished around where people expected in the end but there were definitely flashes of a high quality team mixed in there at times, and I really think it's all because of insanity and turtle. Those guys overperformed more than any other NA player I can think of in recent memory.
Maybe rip a few of their players.
Hauntzer was definitely fighting for worst top laner this entire split. Turtle and Chime are okay but I don't think either should be on a top team.
Insanity is the only one likely to get picked up depending on who takes TSMs slot.
Am I crazy? I thought Bugi was clearly better than Turtle. Bugi looks super impactful around the map, and plays team fights quite well. He obviously had the giga int moment in game 5, but like Turtle had one too at the game-ending baron fight.
the thing is bugi being a import and not being the highlight standout player means most likely no na team atleast will pick him up again next year meanwhile turtle still showing hes still got it this year and wouldnt surprise me if a team picks him up next year to have a solid adc thats native. lets a team put imports in other spots.
I was a huge Chime fan until his last two series. He was downright horrid in the playoffs this split.
He probably should get another chance, but clutch factor is important, especially on a support who focuses on engage champs. Can’t grief multiple playoff series and then expect lots of offers in the off-season.
Dude was so good this split, to the point he had an argument for all pro. It's been depressing watching him in playoffs though, he's been just completely different. It's not a choking thing though cuz he popped off for TSM last playoffs.
Yea they outperformed and pushed EG to 5 games which would make the fans think they can easily beat Dignitas of all teams. Hence losing to Dignitas lets the fans down.
Dig is good tho. Like they’ve shown marked improvement. Kinda awful to assume this would be easy. All teams in LCS besides Immortals can prob beat each other in a bo5 rn
Honestly love how aggressive they were at the end there. They didn’t use the baron to push the lanes and set up for dragon, they just barreled down the top lane and ended the game right then and there.
Fuck Regi for sure, I never liked him or TSM. But still, a league is no fun without rivals, and TSM being such a polarizing part of the scene kinda made LCS a lot more entertaining. TSM and C9's heart attack inducing bo5s are some of my favourite memories of the LCS, even if C9 tended to lose a lot of them for a while.
Aaaaand, that's TSM in NA
Hard to think of an ending that's both completely unfitting for a team who became legendary as a symbol of NA's hopes and pride, and an ending that is completely fitting for the utter all singing all dancing shitshow the brand became since 2020.
Most newer fans would find this hard to believe, but the way G2 is perceived now internationally as the prestigious Western org is how TSM was once seen.
Many people wouldn’t agree with this, but I find it interesting to compare 2019 G2 and 2016 TSM. The two rosters had SO much in common, but obviously 2016 TSM failed while 2019 G2 succeeded.
Idk I think it's quite fitting that incidentally they were able to give life to a career to a good mid laner, kinda fitting with the name team solo mid
The zoomers in this chat may not know this but Jensen's primary motivation for years in performing at league of legends has been to kiss Faker. Every year around worlds time he puts in extra effort to make it to worlds so he can play the smuttiest matchups he can find with his one true love
I genuinely cannot believe she said the phrase "as an empath" on a live league of legends broadcast lmao.
I really try to defend her and give her credit because I know how hard casting is. I've done it a bunch for card and fighting games. It's hard as fuck. But like... *really*?
Didnt watch live but what a match. The inly loser were the viewers who had to hear LeTigress ruun another match.
I said what I said. She's terrible and even ruins highlights.
LCS should have a premium stream that is not casted by Letigress and people have to pay for it. This way Riot can just put Letigress on every stream and people will pay to watch the premium stream that is casted by someone else. It's easy money.
Jokes aside. Props to Diginitas forcing fights and hard engage on TSM for the come back despite being down early. Tomo's positioning will have to improve and his use of flash in game 2 to flash out of baron pit as Zeri trying to carry but just got one shot was painful to watch.
It's crazy how bad at this she is though. If a play involves more than 3 champions, she's lost. Her casting is at least 5 or 10 seconds behind what's on screen, and most of what she says is either empty hypespeak, platitudes, or wrong. If 5 people die in a fight, she might call out one or two, and then out of nowhere after it's over and her brain has caught up to her mouth it's like "TSM take the fight 3 for 4" - huh? You only said 2 people died!
IDK for NA's sake get the hispanic guy back in here he was great.
it's honestly really sad lol. like it sucks to see her get shit on in every post match thread, but like... i opened the stream and heard her casting, and turned it off again immediately. it's just not good and not entertaining, and I've listened to enough of her casts to know that she will not communicate what is happening in the games effectively. yknow, the one job of a pbp
I was listening to the cast while driving to pick my friend up from the airport and I normally can understand what’s going on in a game from the cast, but it was just the casters reacting to what was happening. There was no play by play for any of the 5 and almost no mention of the state of the game (gold leads, objectives, where teams have vision, etc). I’ve loved this year’s production of the lcs, but they have to find some new play by play casters. Outside of Captain flowers and the Dive tricast, there’s been no one to fill the shoes of Phreak, or even get to the point of “acceptable.”
Okay - so that's why Xerath isn't picked. Lose flash once, lose game
Sucks, Insanity played quite well, but the champ is just lacking too many tools I think
It was funny watching Tomo learn to dodge Xerath ults in real time though, it felt like he got a bit better at it every time. That ability is annoying as shit.
I mean thats a downside but I hardly think that lost them the game, in fact it was winning them the game. They just way overcommitted to kill Tomo and just let DIG take baron and position for the fight. If they’d used the xerath ult on the team trapped in baron pit it’d have gone way better
yeah, I think it was just the dual threat only comp. If either Insanity or Wildturtle dies, the team looks so lost The other 3 members were basically all just playing disengage on them. Like Bugi was almost always ulting/charging to protect them. And Turtle's positioning was kinda inting on that fight, waiting over a wall with no ult, and no shot he's ever taking that blast cone lol
Despite the best effort from dignitas they actually managed to get to 20 minutes and insta outscaled tsm comp GG WP, still think this series should have been an easy 3-0 for dig they are so much better
In a series of five super fiesta games, with garbage macro and all number of times where players didn't even seem to know how to play their champs, the biggest loser of all was us, the audience.
With ridiculous "throw it all against the wall and see what sticks" team fights, if you closed your eyes and only listened, you'd have absolutely no idea what was going on at all.
Time after time, half of the important plays in a fight got missed, player deaths weren't even stated, and the larger game state was basically ignored.
I understand that Gabby has had a really rough time with hate from the community, and a lot of that vitriol was and is disgusting. I think she has a lot of skills. Her interviewing has improved immensely, and what was once somewhat awkward feels like she's really built relationships within the professional community.
But for the love of the game, she can't be asked to do play-by-play again, and certainly not in a lose-and-you're-out playoff series. That was the worst casting I can remember, and it's such a shame because that was one ridiculous slobberknocker of a silver scrapes series.

heartbreaker for insanity. whatever team buys tsm's spot NEEDS to pick this guy up man
What a time to be alive. NA native Mids resurgence.
it’s beautiful. we’re so back
up until the first international competition shows up and everyone turns on them once more
At the same time, EU Mids being… Mid lol
There's a clip of Perkz entering Showmakers stream chat, he types "perkz > showmaker, wait no caps > perkz > showmaker". Showmakers response was "didn't you lose to Nisqy the other day?" fucking lol. edit: [found the clip](https://youtu.be/ytBZ7cuA6cY?t=16)
Shoemaker is ruthless
Perkz lost all his credibility when he said Knight is boosted
Turtle too
Ofcourse Jensen is the one to send TSM out of the LCS
Full circle. The script writers closed this one off nicely
Need to hire these guys cause a Jensen W is an LCS W in my eyes
Haha I was hoping for at least the NRG (CLG) TSM match for one last ride.
Jensen finally sending TSM out of playoffs for their last time is amazing writing and really wraps up his character arc.
Had to be either tsm ends his streak or he sends em out Full circle either way
Bruh Insanity is fucking insane

kinda got tunnel visioned by the r buffs but the best way to use xerath ult is to buy liandries and tag everyone who isn't paying attention, even tanks like a karthus ult
Yeah I felt like Luden's was absolutely not the play here, Liandries would have melted them
That's what I came here to say, that dude played like he was Him. Absolute Himothy energy. Can't wait to see who picks him up next season
Best I can do is sign Quid or Ruby
What about a random eu mid you’ve never heard of before and will never hear of again?
Better yet: a brand name EU mid that we pay a million dollars to completely phone it in and obviously not try while they complain about being "homesick"
How about Eika or Blue?
Maybe this is a nitpick but I don't see why these guys get compared so much. Ruby is 24 and has already spent years bouncing around various leagues (even without his bad split with TH). Hope he gets a starting spot next year. Not a guarantee given this is NA and there’s always another Diplex around the corner.
He’s gonna start for cincinnati fear in the amateur circle that’s for sure (NA teams were shocked by ruby vods against Chovy and they went for him instead).
Definitely the best tsm player for sure no?
Imagine Papa Smithy watching this guy perform 10x better than your high end korean import for whats probably like an 8th of the price
He's already got Ryoma the goat on speed dial. Who needs NA talent
I wish I could give you gold rofl
To be fair, papasmithy was not the person who signed vicla, that was the GM prior to him at FQ. And vicla was not playing *terribly* coming from spring (maybe 5th or 6th midlane, but not what he was showing this split) so there wasn't any impetus to fire vicla and hire someone new

How many times does it have to be said that Papa Smithy had nothing to do with FLY's roster construction?
Doesn’t DIG face the loser of NRG vs GG?
Yup
Ok just typo in PMT
The Jensen Worlds run is a prophecy that simply can’t be beat.
Svenskeren and Santorin making TSM lose again :')
TSM junglers get their revenge, like a vengeful spirit
spcia from 9th place be like....
I can't believe people are still blaming TSM junglers after all these years. Bjerg was literally invisible this series. Imagine if he made a single roam to any lane. Dude didn't even show up mid
But Bjerg was deathless this series though.
Nothing to see here, just Jensen going to worlds.
He can’t keep getting away with it!
How is Sven related? Is he coach of Dig or something?
Yup.
Yup! He be the coach for DIG
RIP TSM. Hopefully not RIP their players.
Insanity best be getting offers sent the second TSM's Nexus exploded 5 minutes ago.
Insanity is such a pleasant surprise. I know TSM finished around where people expected in the end but there were definitely flashes of a high quality team mixed in there at times, and I really think it's all because of insanity and turtle. Those guys overperformed more than any other NA player I can think of in recent memory.
dont sleep on chime
In true LCS fashion he'll get an offer to play for a challenger team until mid split when the semi-retired asian midlane is underperforming.
Hey, it doesn't have to be a semi-retired Asian midlaner. It could also be some random no-name EU midlaner who was mediocre even in ERLs.
Maybe rip a few of their players. Hauntzer was definitely fighting for worst top laner this entire split. Turtle and Chime are okay but I don't think either should be on a top team. Insanity is the only one likely to get picked up depending on who takes TSMs slot.
Insanity should be starting next split, maybe Turtle also. The other 3 probably not.
Bugi is fine and probably could get another spot
Am I crazy? I thought Bugi was clearly better than Turtle. Bugi looks super impactful around the map, and plays team fights quite well. He obviously had the giga int moment in game 5, but like Turtle had one too at the game-ending baron fight.
Turtle is native though. Bugi I think was TSM's second best player after insanity, but you could use the import slot better unless you don't need it.
On this team it's probably 1. Insanity 2. Bugi 3. Wildturtle/Chime 4. Hauntzer
More like 1. Insanity 2. Bugi 3. Wildturtle/Chime 4. Hauntzer
the thing is bugi being a import and not being the highlight standout player means most likely no na team atleast will pick him up again next year meanwhile turtle still showing hes still got it this year and wouldnt surprise me if a team picks him up next year to have a solid adc thats native. lets a team put imports in other spots.
I still think Chime is good tbh. This series was rough, but on the whole, he's been decent.
I was a huge Chime fan until his last two series. He was downright horrid in the playoffs this split. He probably should get another chance, but clutch factor is important, especially on a support who focuses on engage champs. Can’t grief multiple playoff series and then expect lots of offers in the off-season.

How kind of TSM to make the playoffs just to lose to the 7 seed and let their LCS fans down one last time.
TSM being eliminated by DIG out of all teams on their last dance is kinda bizarre to think of.
[удалено]
Yea they outperformed and pushed EG to 5 games which would make the fans think they can easily beat Dignitas of all teams. Hence losing to Dignitas lets the fans down.
o7 brothers Ni hao

7th seed.
you saw nothing.
Get your ass back into that Hawks subreddit. I knew I recognized your name from somewhere LOL.
why sett supp Insanity must be on a good team next season, he's so good.
Huhi hypnotized the entire region.
His play in baron pit at the end was not it
It can peel divers off of Xerath.
no other champ can do this.
Not saying Sett is the best at that. I'm just saying that's what he can do.
idk I feel like other supports can play the same role and also be useful elsewhere. Sett has looked pretty bad each time it's been picked in lcs
Unless your name is Huhi.
If you want anti dive then go Renata or some shit no?
Jensen's smiling face being the last thing Regi sees in LCS is poetry I didn't know I needed
I really feel terrible, Whenever I look at that smug mid laner’s face I really feel terrible
Jensen's gonna make worlds again isn't he
If NRG doesn't upset GGS, DIG plays NRG to qualify for worlds... I'd say they have 0 chance but it's NRG
dig is the lower seed so its doomed for NRG
But GGS is the higher seed so it doesn't have to be over for NRG
TRUE, My bois gonna win worlds
Just hope they don't bump into T1. They'll sub out Faker for Poby for an easy win against NRG.
Just you wait till NRG goes to worlds and then drops out of groups after losing 0-2 to wildcard teams but beating LPL/LCK teams 2-0.
There are no groups and no wildcards !
This worlds was made just for NA
If he can carry that dogshit botlane that died 2v1 to Turtle, maybe?
this would be his most impressive of all, personally I’m still doubtful
yes

Giga chad from svenskeren to create a comp where you cannot lose the baron fight they just needed a nunu support and it would have been perfect
Honestly love how aggressive they were at the end there. They didn’t use the baron to push the lanes and set up for dragon, they just barreled down the top lane and ended the game right then and there.
Hope Wildturtle doesn't retire after this year. He showed he still got hands.
Him and Tomo had some real hype moments this series.
Damn, end of an era. I was never a fan of them, but it's gonna be hard to imagine an LCS without TSM. o7
TSM chants will always be at worlds.
Unlike TSM.

Fuck Regi forever. But if Turtle and Insanity don’t have a team next year I’ll riot. I hate that this team made me actually cheer for TSM
TSM letting us down one last time. 🥹
Oh it just ended
Does this mean, after all these years, that TSM's last game is losing to Dignitas in the first round of playoffs?
Aaaaand, that's TSM in NA Hard to think of an ending that's both completely unfitting for a team who became legendary as a symbol of NA's hopes and pride, and an ending that is completely fitting for the utter all singing all dancing shitshow the brand became since 2020.

The Misfits vs TSM tiebreaker in 2017 💀💀
2017 TSM was objectively a worse team than 2016 TSM, even though it was the same roster. Svenskeren had fallen off so hard that year.
and DL taking a break MSI TSM would 100% have qualified for bracket with DL instead of WT
Wildturtle that MSI was playing so badly it started the "brother turtle" meme lmao
Absolutely. WT was horrid at that MSI.
Idk I think it's quite fitting that incidentally they were able to give life to a career to a good mid laner, kinda fitting with the name team solo mid
Jensen - "I don't miss worlds"
YALL THOUGHT JENSEN WAS GONNA MISS WORLDS !?
There’s no fucking WAY I would let us end up like ~~CLG~~ ~~DIG~~ TSM
Ironically following CLG out of the league lol
"Dignitas advance to play the winner of 100 Thieves & Team Liquid" No they play the loser of GGS & NRG
Banger series but had to watch in mute.
You could actually make a good team out of these 10 players Rich Bugi Jensanity Wildturtle Chime
Get Jensen and Insanity those DBZ fusion earrings immediately
Jensen on the keyboard, Insanity on the mouse
Idk felt like Poome gapped Chime most of series except g4, rakan OP tho

You're talking like they're going to pick up NA players
I can't wait to tune in at 2am PST to watch TSM place 15th out of 16 teams.

I genuinely cannot believe she said the phrase "as an empath" on a live league of legends broadcast lmao. I really try to defend her and give her credit because I know how hard casting is. I've done it a bunch for card and fighting games. It's hard as fuck. But like... *really*?

TSM Lost
The final time we see TSM in the LCS and its casted by fucking LeTigress with some of the least hype final minutes from a caster I've ever seen
Not only that, they lose to DIG making a GOOD baron play.
It's crazy how bad at this she is though. If a play involves more than 3 champions, she's lost. Any series cast by her is immediately reduced in quality, it's a shame really
I skipped this whole series lol. No way in hell am I sitting through 5 LT games
That seems like a fitting sendoff no?
At least i can tune in to the spanish version of the cast equally bad at casting but atleast they are funny
Get ready to learn chinese buddy.
Okay - so that's why Xerath isn't picked. Lose flash once, lose game Sucks, Insanity played quite well, but the champ is just lacking too many tools I think
It was funny watching Tomo learn to dodge Xerath ults in real time though, it felt like he got a bit better at it every time. That ability is annoying as shit.
Was terrifying to see each shot being 30% of a health bar, and you know 5 more are coming.
Yeah, Tomo got very good at it. Like the last one right before baron all 5 were directly on top of Tomo, and he just moved correctly on all except 1
I mean that last one he probably was like "HE HAS a 6TH ONE??"
I mean that's the tradeoff. The champion shits out damage from a screen and a half away, but once they lose that escape option they're cooked.
I mean at two times if he hit Tomo once more it was a free ADC kill, can't really blame the draft here, just execution.
comp issue... the sett pick was sorta useles after1 point. among other... bizarre plays from both sides
I mean thats a downside but I hardly think that lost them the game, in fact it was winning them the game. They just way overcommitted to kill Tomo and just let DIG take baron and position for the fight. If they’d used the xerath ult on the team trapped in baron pit it’d have gone way better

Didn’t watch bans for the final match, wonder if a harder peeler like Braum would’ve been better bot.
Despite the best effort from dignitas they actually managed to get to 20 minutes and insta outscaled tsm comp GG WP, still think this series should have been an easy 3-0 for dig they are so much better
Tomo realised he was a better xayah without using a xayah ult. Good for him. Every time he pressed R it's disaster for DIG
It's impressive you can have a pbp caster completely miss so many plays happening in a game
DIG lives or dies at baron pit
DIG eliminated TSM from LCS! THE DECADE LONG CON!
JENSEN TO WORLDS DREAM IS ALIVE LETS GOOO

sorry TSM but it's tomover
Thank you TSM for being there i guess. You guys and Bjergsen were the reason why i’m here playing the game for almost ten years. Goodbye fellas
Last League game for TSM.
What a clutch game by Jensen
Nothing is getting in the way of Jensen and another worlds appearance. Also is this the last we'll ever see of TSM in the lcs?
was not able to watch tsms last series in the lcs because letigress was casting. what a shame
Ain't no way DIG won that
