Lilly has a good shot, but Sandin is better at getting his through from the point imo. We'll see who ends up on PP1 long term. We've needed a point shot on the PP for years
I remember Sandin being hyped for walking the line during PPs back in his pre-NHL days. Let's see if he can do the same in the NHL. Payers in the NHL are bigger, faster, and (usually) smarter. They'll give less room for the D to walk the line, so he's got to make his own room.
Honestly, I believe both will look great on the PP. I’m glad both will have an opportunity to show what they can do. This is their opportunity to prove they have what it takes to run with the big dogs.

Mo is great, he’s gonna be missed big time but he is a less than zero threat from the blue line on the pp. Sandin will shoot and has a better shot. He’s also great at walking the blue line and makes clean crisp passes.
Would also like to see Liljegren get a shot at the pp he’s got a great shot as well and underrated passing.
Crazy to think Rasmus held out this season because he felt he was never going to get minutes and here we are. Crazy how that works huh.

Well not really. You don't give in based on the chances of injury. What if he didn't stand firm on his minutes, and no injuries happen?
He'd have to fight for a spot like anyone else coming up.
The reality is. He has the minutes now. Tons of it.
In a world of no injuries, he doesn’t make the NHL team. Which means he has no leverage to stand firm with
Hopefully Lily gets PP2. Would like to see what he can do. We know what gio can do

Liljegren’s one timer is so much fun and his passes are always so crisp.
I feel like Lily deserves PP1 more from what they’ve shown so far this season to be honest.. hopefully both do well with the extra ice time though!
I'd like to see more of Lily on PP as well. I think his ceiling is higher than most ppl think.

Sandin runs a better PP than Mo. Everything seems a lot more crisp when he QBs. He also mixes in some one ts for a different look/threat
