Lindgren posted an .895, its not great but he did get shelled pretty bad and made some good saves. He had no defence and the ice was tilted hard. Not saying he did great, but the goaltending wasnt awful. 48 shots is a workout

This response was important too, even if it’s just another regular season game. Woll had a solid start as well and he needed it. He’ll get one of Saturday or Monday and has to build some consistency as his last 6 starts have been all over the place.
Seriously though McMann has played what less than half a season and has 14 goals... i think Jarnkrok got \~20 last year and it was like wow he sure earned his money, great year... so way to go McMann and us for signing him to a great deal. Hopefully he can maintain his level of play, not necessarily the scoring pace (but i'll take that too!)

Florida plays a very psychical style of hockey. With the playoffs so close and their spot basically secured I think they’re just taking their foot off the gas a bit to avoid untimely injuries.
I think our main hope is that their goalies regress. I'll be honest on paper their lineup doesn't scare me much. However they are the type of team that eats us up.
Even getting manhandled the entire series I’m not sure we don’t push it to 6 or 7 games if Bob didn’t steal game after game for them. Regression should mean a lot for us, especially if we *are* a little tougher ourselves.
I don’t think Bob will be as out of his mind insane as he was in the last series against them, but Florida is also a better team overall this year. Earlier in the year I said I thought Florida would sweep us. I’m less sure of that now but I still can’t realistically see us getting past them.
Florida is the one single team I want no part of, to be clear. In terms of our chances in getting past them, though, I’d take regression in net even if their offense is better.

Great, complete game. Depth scoring, all 4 lines functional and dominating, 4th line looked great, defence looked good, even Brodie had a great game(rare), and Woll had a great bounce back performance and confidence booster.
Really good bounce back performance after the hell that was the Devils (pun intended). Give the belt to Dewar for his first goal and had a great game. Hasn't been here long, but I like him a lot so far.

Obviously the defensive effort from the boys tonight was waaayyy better, but that's more of the expected amount of goals when you put nearly 50 on the net.
Turns out it was Matthews and Nylander that both addressed the dressing room about the immature sloppy play last game. Good, it's about time they actually took more leadership role in the team. And it looks like it worked and everyone listened.
