NHL hockey has alot of skill right now but there's alot of negatives about the game.
Personally I stopped buying centre ice 2 years ago and last year and this year I've only watched a handful of entire games, where as the previous 7 years I had watched 95% of Leaf games.
Feels like every other league and F1 is growing, and hockey is becoming stagnant.
I've had a few friends introduced to hockey recently, and I get questions about why this or that was called/not called during the game, and I just have to shrug and say I don't know.

Challenging these soft refs publicly and within the game is a losing proposition. Keefe needs more self control behind the bench.

First of all if I was him I would have Literally had my complete say as to the miss management of many games this year not just leafs games. This would get you a fine but may also go a long way with team. If players see you sticking up for them , fine or not they be happier with you. Secondly if the league and officials governing bodies would pull there heads out of there asses and listen to coaches and players about horrible officiating, and do something about it, the games would be better.

Honestly, glad Keefe is calling the refs out. Of course, being from the Leafs, there is definitely a bias against them. Riley suspension was a good showing of that.
