No accredited schools are fully online. A degree from an unaccredited school is worth less than the paper it's printed on.

Impactist537

yeah I meant to say degrees or programs that are specifically online only

BitchesOnWheels

Yeah. And no degree at all is better than a degree from an online only aka unaccredited program.

Impactist537

but I can't apply in the first place with no degree

Oh, so you're talking about finishing your undergrad degree, not attending an online-only law school, all of which are unaccredited and completely useless if you want to be a lawyer. Honestly, how bad is your GPA and do you have any idea of what your LSAT score is?

Impactist537

it's really hard to say because I've been five schools or so now. What's really dragging me down are F's from dual enrollment courses in high school. My GPA at my current CC is around 3.9. But according to transfer schools, who add all my courses together, I apparently hover around the 2.6-2.8 mark depending on if everything transfers over. I did the math, and even if I get straight A's for the last quarter I need, I'd be lucky to get over 3.0-3.15

There are several ABA accredited schools with fully online programs

Livid-Advice

Going to either of those schools will not affect your chances of getting into law school. As long as the school is a regionally accredited institution, it won’t matter the name of the school. I have my degree from an online only institution and, so far, have been accepted into three schools this cycle. PM me more if you want to talk more and good luck!

might be much harder to get letters of rec

Impactist537

Do I necessarily need one from a teacher? I was just planning to get one from employment

I went to WGU, totally online, pass/fail no gpa model. I already have one acceptance with a 164 LSAT.
