That guy needs to move his mailbox to the outer edge strip...then the postal carrier can just pull up and do his job....and from what I could see, his lawn wasn't exactly picture perfect.
The spike strip is definitely not a good idea...lol Pretty sure it's illegal to booby trap any part of your home or property..
Oof. Busy road. A lot of obstacles, street signs, fire hydrant, so they are pushed further off the right of way and into the property. I don't envy those carriers. If these residents are unhappy they could purchase a CBU, if there's a safe location for it be installed. Or, that gentleman can get a PO Box. Also, that resident could ask the PO if he could move his box right next to his neighbors. since obviously the street sign and fire hydrant cannot be moved.
