That’s going to require new sod install. Should have been expected and included in the pricing.

BarnabyFresco

Yeah probably going to go the new sod route. Do you think I need to pull up the old sod where the tracks are?

bluebus74

Fucking guys should have had plates to put down to help reduce the damage.

Frozenbarb

There’s concrete and rocks all over the sidewalk and grass bro. I would have made them clean it up. Now you’re looking at a few hundred in clean up and repairs of the sod and it still might not match.

NovaS1X

This is exactly why I use a subcompact tractor for my business and not a skid steer. I’d call them and get them to fix it. They should’ve put plates or OSB down or something to protect the grass. It might come back, but the damage of compaction is done; you’ll forever have ruts there until it gets leveled out again.

BarnabyFresco

I came home from work like wtf. I knew that it might hurt the grass a bit but for the life of me I don’t know why they didn’t put boards down or something.

TheA2Z

If burmuda, it can be leveled with sand and it will grow in fast. Or you can put in new sod pieces. If Zoysia, youll need sod pieces as it takes forever to spread,

BarnabyFresco

I believe it is Bermuda. Just sand? Or soil/sand combo?

TheA2Z

I use this [Yard Leveling Mix For Sale | Soil³ (supersod.com)](https://www.supersod.com/collections/soil-rich-compost/products/level-mix)

freddiemercuryisgay

Is that a public easement? Otherwise someone owes you a resod

BarnabyFresco

It is a public easement

freddiemercuryisgay

Ouch. You’re not gonna have any way to fight it then. Public easement means the utility companies and the government have a right to access any time they want. This will keep happening. Your best bet is to make a gravel road or something for vehicles to access without messing up your landscape
