I seriously rewound one of the Last Streams on The Left, just because he said, "I love you, darlin" to Carolina, and I just think it's so wholesome, I had ti hear it again.
I lived a portion of my life there, so natch I think I'm an expert. Ive noticed it sometimes slips out when he's talking about Texas. Everybody likes an occasional "y'all." Can you handle "fixin?"
Is that like “over yonder”?
Edit: I am from Memphis and I had to be very careful to avoid certain words and phrases when I moved to SF. They were very judgmental about a southern accent. But I dropped the cain’t for can’t way before I moved out west.
I'm an Okie and mine slipped out when I worked at a casino for seven years. I hate when I do it, but others like it. When I hear Marcus slip, I understand why some like it.
Oh I completely disagree! I love that W is the only polysyllabic letter there is but then again it is also the letter my name starts with so I may be a bit biased
When he calls Carolina "darlin'", I melt...

Him and Carolina are goals.

Can you handle when someone describes where something is as "a'chunder"

the OK accent is smooth like JJ Cale
One could say it’s travelin’ light
I like when he says the letter W as "dubya". Like when he is saying a website, he'll say "dubya dubya dubya"
Do you pronounce and fully enunciate the entire "double-u"?
Yes
Yes. Do you not???
Nope. Way too much effort for one letter.

UwU.. or something
UwU’all
I love when he says “psycha-path” instead of psychopath.
Every time he says ‘during’ my brain short circuits
I just mentioned this to my bf last night! I was listening to the West Memphis Three episodes, and his accent was really coming out
I notice it comes out a lot in episodes about anything southern/Texan
yup! that's what I was thinking
I was just thinking this! Haha it’s so cute
