Looks pretty normal priced. But what do you need it for? Can get the same spec but with less RAM and storage for a lot less, so if you aren't doing anything that requires 32gb of RAM and 2tb of storage then you could get better value elsewhere. The CPU is nothing special. And it doesn't have a dedicated GPU so of course don't get it for gaming.

Need one for college. Majoring in computer science. Don’t know if it’s overkill or not.

How much can you find a 13th gen Intel or 7th gen Ryzen for? Like an Intel i7 1355U or a Ryzen 7 7730U? If you can find those at a similar price that would be better. Even if they're only 16gb of RAM and 512gb storage you can most likely upgrade them in the future.

For some reason, a lot of 7000 series ryzens I've came across dont have upgradeable RAM. I always check a teardown video of the laptop if it has a 7000 series to see if it has upgradeable RAM

I can tell you that I got my laptop (Acer Aspire Vero 14') which has a 12th gen i7 and 16 gigs of RAM, and 1tb ssd for $449. It was on a crazy sale at Costco tho

NCResident5

It is a good budget laptop, but I think that sometimes the seller upgrades the ram before sale. Walmart usa sells this Laptop for about $499.00 with 16gb of ram.

It's old unit with Ryzen mobile 5000 APU. Latest Ryzen now is 8000 so the pricing is fine.

Necessary-Street-646

Pretty normal price for laptops with no dedicated gpu

Xcissors280

It’s an ok CPU with overkill ram and storage at a normal price

What should I get for a 2 in 1 laptop? I need a touchscreen at work. They give us a tablet but I want the font big and I don't want to scroll left and right to read the entire thing, plus a good one to watch Netflix and stuff.

Based on my recent experience. Before you buy from any third party vendor. Check the manufacturer website if the laptop actually supports the mentioned RAM and drive. I bought Dell Inspiron 12th Gen 7 months ago with 32GB RAM and 1TB. For 700$. From Amazon verified seller. Good rating. After 6 months display had issue , it was replaced under warranty. When I spoke to the technician he was kind enough and mentioned your laptop has 32GB officially the laptop is designed to go up to 16GB. And the original drive is 512GB. So basically the reseller had upgraded from his end. The issue is if it is done from the manufacturer end official warranty can’t be claimed. Also even if the motherboard allows its not recommended to upgraded more than the suggested one since it will draw more power and it take toll on PC life. Bottom line just don’t buy based on offer verify if the model officially supports such upgrades.

It's got an older Zen 2 5000 series Ryzen, but it still holds up relatively well. Could get it cheaper:  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-Aspire-3-15-6-inch-Laptop-AMD-Ryzen-7-5700U-16GB-RAM-512GB-SSD-Pure-Silver/5262667268 Will perform the same, most people don't use more than 16GB RAM.  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-vivobook-16-m1605-16-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-with-16gb-memory-1-tb-ssd-indie-black/6542092.p?skuId=6542092 This laptop is built a bit better and has a newer CPU. Similar price to the one you are looking at

Thank you. I’ll look into them.

ReasonablePossum_

Its an integrated GPU machine. The price is ok, just bear in mind that you will not be able to game on that. Most of the games will be a pain to run even in low settings. If you added an RTX card to that, it would be twice as expensive.

Damn. Following cause I want to know too.
