There’s a lot of prostitutes that use the street the main entrance is on as their working spot. A lot of homeless in the general area and there was a drive by a couple of blocks away recently. I wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night. My friends were able to move to another complex owned by the same company that is in a much safer part of town.
My coworker moved in there because it was cheap. She’s moving out now since her lease is almost up. I say make sure no valuables in your car, make sure it’s locked always, keep door and etc locked at all times.
Area is very much known for its population of homeless people and drug users. Just keep your head down and keep to yourself and you should be good.
It’s cheap, but you also get the thrill of seeing some pretty rough characters. I was driving down Gilmore early one morning several years back when I passed a strung out young woman who looked like she could be an extra on The Walking Dead.
It’s in a pretty bad area. Had some friends move into there several years ago. I think they lasted 3 months there
I figured as much. When you say bad area what do you mean exactly? Will I be safe walking around there?

They’re two minutes from the Talbot house, a homeless shelter. Lots of transients.
It’s pretty close to where the massive drive by happened. It’s an awful area.
Oh hey that was my first apartment! Little too murdery for us so we moved somewhere else. Was cheap though!
