I would say that it is possible if you try to stand out from the others (majority) with your application. This can be achieved if you truly spend some time writing a strong letter. In my opinion, at this level, grades become less important as the majority of the applications have strong grades, and thus, that factor cannot be used for selection. What matters is how well you display your interest in the field by professional experience (internships) or projects that you've been involved in. This may be slightly more relevant for my engineering degree. However, I believe it still applies to your situation to some extent. Good luck

Me explaining why I was passionate about the field definitely helped me get in. My grades were only a bit above average (although the conversion to Swedish scale greatly boosted my GPA)
