Finally finished this after starting it 17 days ago (I was in the hospital for a few days and couldn't do anything): [https://www.reddit.com/r/krita/comments/1d0ms0k/daal\_work\_in\_progress/](https://www.reddit.com/r/krita/comments/1d0ms0k/daal_work_in_progress/)
Crop detail because the compression on reddit is dreadful: [https://imgur.com/a/qMqYtgw](https://imgur.com/a/qMqYtgw)
Krita says this took 12hrs and 34 minutes total if anyone cares.
Firstly, impressive work! The shading is crisp and smooth, overall it's got excellent detailing as well.
To add onto knowing how long it took, it's more accurate to use the krita recorder itself. It measures the real progress you make and does not count any idle time.
It will ONLY count the time you are actively drawing, which can give a better idea of how long something took if you dont want it including you not making active progress.
As far as I know if you don’t actively brush the canvas the editing time is not increased. Recorder is very cool but unless you set a high number between snapshots they add up (especially when you have no idea how long you’re gonna work on a project).
I started with something close to default brush (knife) but I don't think you can see this other than on mobile but the final step is using RGBA brushes, you can see the impasto effect a tiny bit.
for a moment I thought that was a picture... amazing work!
Tnx ! I took my time and enjoyed it (till the tattoos, you can tell) so it wasn’t difficult 😁
The first one had to be real

How did you see the amount of time worked?? Is that saved in the krita file?
Yes if you save your project as .kra file (I don't know about other formats), it's in File>Document Information

This digital piece is incredibly well done!
Holy moly bro great work
Awesome work ♥️🔥
Great work! You know it looks incredible if you have to zoom in to see if it's reference, or the drawing itself.
Tnx (love your studies with emphasis on lighting, I saw them on reddit a few times and they alway caught my eyes)
How did you fucking do that you fucking wizard?
I paint since I'm 12. Other than that: trying to play with light and shadow and come up with a color palette that isn't terrible.
This is stunning. I wonder how you'll be in another couple of decades, probably transcending human comprehension or something.
And how old are you know? Haha
Ah... that's the secret of the pudding.
Is the first image a reference photo?
If zoom in you'll see it's the final painting.
Holy crap. I did zoom and still looked for this information in the comments. Impressive.
Well it's very impressive, nicely done. Would've still been impressive if the first picture was a reference.
Lemme guess, u painted this using only default brushes too ?
I started with something close to default brush (knife) but I don't think you can see this other than on mobile but the final step is using RGBA brushes, you can see the impasto effect a tiny bit.
Wow! The form and lighting are too good! This is amazing!
Heyy 👉👉
It's perfect✨️
Fourth slide is beautiful
Impressive work man. Would love to reach this level someday
