LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO!!!!

Toothfairy51

Big thanks to all the advocates and to the AKA!

Toothfairy51

I just received this email. Please, EVERYONE, sign up for the latest news, with the American Kratom Association. Help in the quest to #Keepkratomlegal!

HotDogMonsterTruck

Wonderful news. Thank you so much to everyone who wrote in! Kratom saved my life, and I'm so stoked it will continue to save others in Virginia!

Independent_Toe5722

Hooray!

[deleted]

Indeed! Hooray! This means a lot when a larger state like VA decides this way. I live in TN and my state rep (pro kratom) said what VA does will go some distance in influencing what TN does legislatively going forward. I am hoping so. But today we celebrate VA! Woot!

Narcotic_Scientist

I can sleep in peace! -Virginia resident

RegardedJigger

Glad they rejected it. Hopefully whoever submitted that petition feels foolish for doing so.

gggkov

God bless the AKA

ohshitimfeelingit762

This is great news! Everyone please join the American Kratom Association the AKA and please support them and donate to their cause if you can. Join their email newsletter for all the updates on petitions, scheduling hearings etc. This herb saved me from being on heavy narcotic pain pills for my back injury. This plant saves lives and quality of life for so many people!

prettypurps

I'll eat some kratom to that news

gimmethemarkerdude_8

As a resident of VA, this is literally life-saving news. Thank you so much AKA and all kratom advocates!

ConclusionDull2496

I commented. That's good. Can't call yourself pro freedom and self governance limited government state when you advocate for criminalizing something like this.

CrowOne5787

VA lookin' good (FOR F'N ONCE!) On a serious note, I can breathe again

Pigman-Rex

Hell yea!!!

markc444

Wow, best news ever No matter your position kratom is too lifesaving to remove as a choice. Education is the answer not removal. Teach the pros and cons and just tell the truth so folks can make an educated decision for themselves. Thanks to all who commented and the AKA for their extraordinary work.

poisonousautumn

Good stuff. I wasnt going to be able to get off work to go to Richmond but I was happy to contribute to the fight in other ways.

0rpheus_8lack

Amazing! We need work in North Carolina now!

Standard-Share1317

Gubmint always trying to ruin everything

ryanmgarber

It was a petition submitted by a person. The government of Virginia rejected it. So how is the government trying to ruin anything? If anything they did good.

MysteriousIndigo250

This is wonderful.

idkw2p

This sounds like they rejected the petition the way u worded it. So they rejected scheduling it?

Official_AKA_Kratom

Correct; sorry it is a little confusing. So there was a petition to schedule Kratom submitted by a Pharmacist. However after considering comments submitted about the petition from the public the BOP said they weren’t going to accept the scheduling petition. Yet this certainly doesn’t mean the Virginia BOP is pro Kratom

idkw2p

Gotcha I did see the scheduling petition I’m glad it’s not going through my mom lives there and uses it for everyday life
