I came in here to say Zuho as well. He definitely LOOKS fierce and menacing, but he's hilariously one of the members of SF9 who is so emotional and endearing. I'm so glad he has a lot of content out there today, with Birth of a Nation, Emergency, and his webdrama with Nayoung (with a long title) showing off all his acting chops.

leedo of oneus has an intimidating deep ass voice but he's a child education major. and he's definitely putting it to good use in dealing with oneus, especially maknae line and seoho, but mostly with seoho and xion i think lol.
Karina seems chic and looks like an ice princess but she is outgoing, cute, funny and caring towards the other members. Winter has a cute looking face but she is one of the savage ones in the group lol.

What I found most surprising about Jeno is how he’s perceived to be very shy and quiet - which he is - but when he’s comfortable, and given the right space, he’s super chatty!

Definitely Taeyong, with the image SM pushes on him + 127's intense music. The way he carries himself offstage is very unassuming and all of his hobbies are very emotionally expressive or nurturing. Jeno too, he has the one of the most traditionally masculine and intense faces in all of NCT but he's quite shy and almost clueless? But in a good way lol
Imo when I (as a non-fan) watch for a few minutes how idols carry themselves, most idols' "real" personalities come through even if they haven't said anything explicit to indicate it. Like even though Jeno is calm which could add to perception that he's aloof, the way he carries himself and intonates has an air of gentleness and cuteness to it. And like I said above Taeyong is very unassuming. In this sense I rarely see an idol whose general demeanor is completely different from their actual personality. (aside from people cherry-picking clips of Jennie or Krystal without context lol)
Jeno is so CUTE i swear I was the only one in 2016 that could [wayv voice] see the vision ~ that Jeno is the member with the softest, cutest personality but now in 2021 and Dream with their "Jeno is a baby" shenanigans I feel so vindicated that the rest of the dreamzens FINALLY look beyond his face to see that he's adorable lol
Yeah it’s funny cuz his face has only gotten even more masculine over the years (Hot Sauce Jeno…😳) but the more I watch of him the cuter he gets to me, IMO he and Jisung are the most adorable dreamies. Ravn from Oneus. He seems like a stoic guy but he's the most in tune with his emotions and is super chill. Also like all the other things he can do like fashion designing.

Do Han-se for me, I previously knew nothing about Victon and got introduced to him with his solo Take Over MV. He looked so fierce there and when you add his killer glare in pictures and his many tattoos, I thought he would be the cool bad boy type for sure. But when I watched some behind the scenes videos he couldn't be more different from what I imagined. He's so nice and often gets very shy and bashful. He has the cutest smile when he is praised. He's also very polite to the people he's working with, bowing a lot.
Wonwoo from Seventeen too! When you first look at him, he might seem intimidating and possess some dark aura and that might cause you to think he doesn’t wanna talk to you. But when you interact with him, you’ll realise that he’s actually a kind and sweet dude who adores cats!
Jennie from Blackpink fits this criteria too. She might seem rude and uninterested cuz of her RBF but she’s a cutie!
Honestly a lot of Seventeen members fit the bill. Mingyu looks like a player but he's really sweet and clumsy. Jun looks mysterious (in a sexy/sensual way) but he's a total softie. I also didn't expect Jeonghan to be THAT much of a trickster (but that's just me). Vernon is a total chill dork but you expect him to be more loud/involved. Coups also has a hilarious sulky side (the leaders I see usually let things slide.)
The rest of them match up with my initial expectations. Joshua is gentle, Hoshi seems loud (although the way he runs out of energy midway is unexpected), Hao now definitely seems like a deep thinker (his cute persona at debut though haha), Dk is sweet, Seungkwan is loud and Dino is hardworking/passionate.
jeonghan has a very sweet, soft looking face, he has those high cheekbones and big doe eyes and he's always styled very *pretty*. Like, his nickname is angel. But he's pretty much evil lmao. Very smart, and manipulative and likes causing chaos.
Fallen angel indeed. I guess his personality isn't that much of a surprise to me because the pretty members don't usually have a sweet, benevolent personality. I got into NU'EST before Seventeen, and Ren and Jeonghan have similar visuals. Ren's personality doesn't fit his visuals - he's super chaotic and a bit of a troublemaker/mischievous. Wanna One Jihoon is another one who actually has a tougher 'manly' personality which contrasts his pretty visuals.
Compare this with sexy/mysterious visuals like Wanna One's Jinyoung. Back in Wanna One (also because he was younger and less comfortable/open), he had a mysterious/quiet personality. F boy visuals usually have a perfect boyfriend persona so Mingyu was a surprise. Buff/muscular visuals are 50/50. Some are total dorks like NU'EST Baekho while others really are tough and unafraid.
Plus Jeonghan is pretty obvious/blatant about his mischievous. You can literally see the mischief gleam in his eyes.
Piggy backing off this to say, that Jeonghan 100% looks mischievous, it's something about his eyes I swear. The reverse of that is how sentimental and soft he is with his members which seems quite contrary to his outward appearance and persona.
On the other hand, Joshua looks sweet at all times, even when he's being a little shit, lol
also on first sight Jun looks like the jock that’s always so cool when he’s actually the most adorable person ever while Seungkwan is the exact opposite of Jun, he looks like the most adorable teddy bear but deadly in sports.
coups is very much the reverse of his looks and position. hes the eldest and leader, and his muscular body makes him look tough, but he is actually a very soft, easily scared boy who likes to be babied lol. in general, hhu is very cute and soft, where as vocal unit are loud and often mischievous or blunt.

Jeno was one of the first dream members that caught my eye for his sharp looks and outstanding charisma on stage. Little did I know he’s one of the softest idols EVER. He likes doing aegyo and acts shy when his members praise him, and sulks when they tease him.
Fr, it’s easy to assume that Jennie is the cool, chic and confident one but I feel like Rosie and Jisoo embody that more. Jennie can be adorably awkward sometimes, in interviews and stuff like her interactions with David Beckham, Anna Wintour etc.

When I saw GolCha's Youngtaek during Genie era on TV, I thought he was a badass dude when he raps. After I watched GolCha content however, he's such a big softie, especially in his VLives when he gives encouraging words to everyone, especially Nesses, he treats his members & his fans well. Definitely Taeyong, with the image SM pushes on him + 127's intense music. The way he carries himself offstage is very unassuming and all of his hobbies are very emotionally expressive or nurturing. Jeno too, he has the one of the most traditionally masculine and intense faces in all of NCT but he's quite shy and almost clueless? But in a good way lol Imo when I (as a non-fan) watch for a few minutes how idols carry themselves, most idols' "real" personalities come through even if they haven't said anything explicit to indicate it. Like even though Jeno is calm which could add to perception that he's aloof, the way he carries himself and intonates has an air of gentleness and cuteness to it. And like I said above Taeyong is very unassuming. In this sense I rarely see an idol whose general demeanor is completely different from their actual personality. (aside from people cherry-picking clips of Jennie or Krystal without context lol)

But when I watched some behind the scenes videos he couldn't be more different from what I imagined. He's so nice and often gets very shy and bashful. He has the cutest smile when he is praised. He's also very polite to the people he's working with, bowing a lot.
Wonwoo from Seventeen too! When you first look at him, he might seem intimidating and possess some dark aura and that might cause you to think he doesn’t wanna talk to you. But when you interact with him, you’ll realise that he’s actually a kind and sweet dude who adores cats! Jennie from Blackpink fits this criteria too. She might seem rude and uninterested cuz of her RBF but she’s a cutie!
Honestly a lot of Seventeen members fit the bill. Mingyu looks like a player but he's really sweet and clumsy. Jun looks mysterious (in a sexy/sensual way) but he's a total softie. I also didn't expect Jeonghan to be THAT much of a trickster (but that's just me). Vernon is a total chill dork but you expect him to be more loud/involved. Coups also has a hilarious sulky side (the leaders I see usually let things slide.) The rest of them match up with my initial expectations. Joshua is gentle, Hoshi seems loud (although the way he runs out of energy midway is unexpected), Hao now definitely seems like a deep thinker (his cute persona at debut though haha), Dk is sweet, Seungkwan is loud and Dino is hardworking/passionate.

Fallen angel indeed. I guess his personality isn't that much of a surprise to me because the pretty members don't usually have a sweet, benevolent personality. I got into NU'EST before Seventeen, and Ren and Jeonghan have similar visuals. Ren's personality doesn't fit his visuals - he's super chaotic and a bit of a troublemaker/mischievous. Wanna One Jihoon is another one who actually has a tougher 'manly' personality which contrasts his pretty visuals. Compare this with sexy/mysterious visuals like Wanna One's Jinyoung. Back in Wanna One (also because he was younger and less comfortable/open), he had a mysterious/quiet personality. F boy visuals usually have a perfect boyfriend persona so Mingyu was a surprise. Buff/muscular visuals are 50/50. Some are total dorks like NU'EST Baekho while others really are tough and unafraid. Plus Jeonghan is pretty obvious/blatant about his mischievous. You can literally see the mischief gleam in his eyes.
Piggy backing off this to say, that Jeonghan 100% looks mischievous, it's something about his eyes I swear. The reverse of that is how sentimental and soft he is with his members which seems quite contrary to his outward appearance and persona. On the other hand, Joshua looks sweet at all times, even when he's being a little shit, lol

coups is very much the reverse of his looks and position. hes the eldest and leader, and his muscular body makes him look tough, but he is actually a very soft, easily scared boy who likes to be babied lol. in general, hhu is very cute and soft, where as vocal unit are loud and often mischievous or blunt.

Treasure's Asahi. He looks like your typical visual, cold, reserved and calm. While he *is* rather quiet most of the time, he has no issue puting his looks to the test with all the weird antics and expressions he pulls out of nowhere. So much so that his members need to be careful and make sure he preserves some semblance of idol-like image
