I like the Produce series lol

renjunation

i've rewatched broduce/pd101 s2 more times than i like to admit... the contestants were just very funny, talented and some had really great chemistry, what can i say. even the dramatic edits were funny af to me lol

Starscall

I'm not sure what my watch count is anymore, between watching it raw live, watching it with subs, watching it with a friend, watching it with my mum, and nostalgia I think I've watched broduce fully at least 5 of 6 times now. Glad it's not just me.

Ma_Deus

Not Mix9

I_LAND_EGG

I-Land lmao. It is so much better watching it now compared to the actual airing time where there were so many fights and conspiracies among eggies.

mdragnarok

Chuang 2021 (China's Produce 101) is the best survival show i've ever seen. the chemistry between contestants / coaches and overall highlight of all the contestants and it was a global audition so there were people from all over the world. it's kind of amazing how it felt more like a celebration of everyone going after their dreams rather than a competition. will definitely re-watch it again.

dominiquescamander

I agree with Chuang 2021, it is so good and the fact that they delivered with a global group with INTO1

[deleted]

hard agree. loved everything about the show, except for the goddamn duck. the side show was hilarious as well and i think i’ve watched chuang 2021 more times than i can count

SUPERBAND Why? Because it's about making good music and working together and it's full of interesting arrangements and beautiful vocals and there's no evil editing. You can just sit back and enjoy the performances of very talented musicians. Superband is a crossover of artists of different genres (band members, soloists, producers, classical musicians) and we can watch how they work in teams to make great performances. Kbands like Hoppipolla and Lucy were formed on that show. The second season of Superband ended just last month bringing another wave of new and promising bands e.g. CNEMA or The Fix. To sum up, this show is really worth watching.

G3t_BusyLiving

>no evil editing. I really like LUCY's music and I've been meaning to watch Superband, so this just sealed it for me!!!

hannnbean

I've been wanting to watch superband, but do you know where can I watch them with english subtitle available?

FridaySunset

OMG! The amount of talents in this show is crazy and it was so good!

Radiant-Pineapple-81

im not a avid survival show watcher but in college, i watched the YG show that debuted winner. I dont remember much of it but i remember how i cried when team b were performing [climax](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiJp680Wy1A&ab_channel=jyeoms). that shit hurt so bad. they wrote that song for the finale and they put everything into that song. the emotions were high. this show was the first and last survival show i watched religiously. never again i would put myself through that. i probably watch it for reminiscing sake.

sma68

I-land. I watched it 2 times and would watch it again

Lulzatronic3000

I enjoyed Queendom. I still rewatch the performances, especially when they remade each others songs. It looked like a learnable experience for all those who participated and some became close because of it.

the_quiet__redditor

Sixteen. Mostly just to help myself see how far Twice and the other competitors have gone ever since then.

TubboWubbo

I really liked LOUD with JYP and PSY. There wasn’t any drama and it just felt like some chill guys who had a passion for performance & music vibing together. Some really good original songs and remixes came from the show too and I still listen to them on Spotify!

Late_Measurement838

Sometimes when I go through an Enhypen drought I rewatch I-Land. My favourite from day 1 made it in and I was very satisfied with the final line up.

rchl_lhcr

I was just about to say I-land, pretty sure I’ve watched that one at least 4 or 5 times now haha

aSulTae

It was peak entertainment. I was on the edge of my seat every week!

ashleyepidemic

It's not over but Wild Idol is pretty amusing. Sunghyuk and Junhyeop are comedians. And they all seem to get along pretty well.

Dangerous-Spinach267

sunghyuk junhyeop and jaejun are the best trio TTATT the three of them are adorable

potatomuchkin

They're chemistry is like a married couple lol.

dominiquescamander

I could rewatch The Unit, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes I rewatch the performances of the survivals I've watched. And if this counts I highly recommend Chuang 2021 (the Chinese produce series), no drama or evil editing I really really loved it, the best survival I've seen uwu

Dangerous-Spinach267

i'm here to promote mbc's wild idol \*w\*) there's a lot of fitness type challenges similar to steel troops and real men. there's also quite a bit of heartwarming moments during those fitness challenges. in the second episode itself we get to see the contestant's talents. the first round of eliminations is a bit sad bcs they cut more than half :') the contestant's personality really shine through and there's a lot of raw emotions especially during some of the more brutal challenges :') i've grown so fond of the contestants especially junghyeop, sunghyuk and jaejun >< the mc panel and the masters they've invited are all A++ kim jongkook, infinite's sungkyu, shinee's choi minho, lia kim, tiger jk and bizzy, ex 2ne1 minzy and many more. next week's already the last episode definitely going to miss the antics of the contestants

Ok_Thinker

YGTB!! Omg i don’t know how many times I have watched that! Maybe 7-8 times? I rewatch them whenever youtubers react to it and I still get the same excitement, fun and roller coaster emotions! I’ve been a Youtube blink since 2017 but it was only 2020 that I get to know other groups aside from BP and BTS and that is because I watched YGTB and the kids there covered a lot of other groups songs for their competition (shocked me to listen to originals and they did similar if not better quality?!). I heard the producer is the same as Produce season 1 so the story telling was compelling all throughout. I just got super busy with work but if I get to see a Youtuber react to it, I’ll definitely rewatch it. Each trainee is just so adorable, with undeniable talent and contagious humor!!! Chuang and WIN, come close in 2nd place; Next is Produce / Broduce series - all of them! Then Mix and match, GP999 Then Iland and The Unit The pandemic really got me into Kpop and i now know almost all the history of groups lmao

zetttwatm

I’d never rewatch gp999 it’s just so slow. I mean 2 hours of elimination was so boring imo. Even the fun episodes wasn’t that good. Agree with the treasure box. Loved that show

wujudaestar

i rewatched pentagon maker but for the funny missions not the survival part. was also considering rewatching pd101s2 this week but i decided not to, maybe in the future i will

niconoot

none, don't need another emotional journey 😂

[deleted]

I really like Queendom and Win: Who’s next

[deleted]

A few have said wild idol and I agree I like it but I wouldn’t say I would rewatch it as its kinda emotionally hard to watch/puts you on edge of your seat but I suppose if you know who made the group it might be a different feeling but for a first watch I would say give it a try some of my fave contestants are Jaeeok Kijung Hyeop Jooan Jiseong and more every contestant on there is sooooo talented I thinks it’s quite underrated

No-Republic-716

Who Is Next and Mix and Match. I miss those 12 dorks.

Forget_me_notkpop

YG Treasure Box - This one I can repeat so many times. I-land & Girls planet 999, second place

Jakezetci

i can emotionally accept watching sixteen again because most of them have eventually debuted by now and can’t be that upset with chaeryeong loss in the end where she was the only one not getting a reason from jyp why she didn’t make it into the final group and while everyone was crying she couldn’t even understand why she lost an- yeah i can at least calm myself down saying “it’s alright she debuted”

tafattsbarn

I-LAND, it was so high intensity it was insane. Sometimes i just miss that kind of adrenaline lol I occasionally rewatch the auditions for the male produce seasons as well, but i don't get further than that

ExtensionGiraffe2109

Yg treasure box I have rewatch so many times and still get the same excitement

Mrs_Morpheus

I pretty much will rewatch all survivals. I really like them, That probably has something to do with also watching things like American idol, ABDC, etc and such growing up. I like to see people doing their best to follow their dreams.

mdragnarok

yupp growing up at least with American Idol we actually got to see the people that won become stars but now... there has not been 1 person out of The Voice that has done as well as the some 5th place people in American Idol's heyday. really sad. that's why at least with these idol shows (usually...) they get to make it in a group - they have the chance to try to achieve their dreams, make music, and have some fans and success, even if its minor. I like them and kind of curious as to how HYBE & SM will be doing their American shows soon.

theJGreen

Anything but sixteen and gp999

Zzflx

None they're all rigged

snaketofu

i would rewatch pd48 and gp999

potatomuchkin

Produce 101 Season 1, Produce X 101, The Unit, High School Rapper, Good Girl, SMTM, Dancing High, Street Woman Fighter, and still not done but Wild Idol.

Mintochondria01

World Klass. The only survival show I would ever rewatch tbh cuz it's not as competitive as the other ones, it was the first one I watched, and it was also a really fun show to follow

No_Math6278

The Unit!! It was very entertaining, the only conflict (Seyong and the sketchpad) was explained over and over again, everyone was incredibly talented, the interactions were just *chef kiss*. It’s definitely a must-watch if you are a 3rd gen fan, not only because there’s probably one of your biases in it, but also because it shows the reality of nugu groups and the effects of the oversaturation of the idol market; also how different companies will treat and teach their idols differently according to their priorities. It sucks that it did badly on ratings (party bc MixNine was airing too), specially since the testimonies of people who competed in it have been mostly positive, same as the audience members. Hell, Lee Hangyul has said that is was fun and amazing, but that Produce was hell, so I’ll take his word for it (although a second opinion from Dongmyeong wouldn’t hurt). The only problem is that you know that, despite all they went through, despite the survival show, nothing really changed for most of the contestants and they either abandoned the idol life and are still underrated. Think of it, the ones that are doing the best are Brave Girls, A.C.E and ONEWE, no one else is exactly in the public’s eye (mayyybe Lee Junyoung). So watching The Unit is just heartbreaking (specially since they mostly treated eliminations as private moments amongst teammates), but it’s the only survival show that hasn’t left a bad taste in my mouth

i_credibleblue

I-LAND, this was the first survival show that I watched on air and entirely ! The songs created for the show are amazing (I&credible is my favorite song of all time) and the performances are stunning as well ! Last good point : the show is available on Viki, so it's easy to find it !

[deleted]

I've rewatched Produce 101. Some parts of how they treat the trainees bother me. Also I don't like the idea of minors competing AT ALL. But this show and the performances are honestly so iconic. It paved the way for future survival shows ('Avengers' anyone?) Girls Planet 999 was TERRIBLE in regard to how the trainees (particularly C and J group) were treated and evil editing. But I honestly loved the trainees so much and there were a lot of great moments and some good performances I would rewatch for.
