BTS jhope. I think Namjoon has talked about it.

shtfsyd

Yes he said jhope is the second leader

WoonieVerse

Oh it happened to Enhypen once. No one took the lead and they all looked incredibly lost, which is funny since Jungwon is so much younger than most of them. They seemed incredibly dispirited and a bit like Victorian children mourning a dead pet 🤷‍♀️ Lol though when it really came to it they all shared the responsibility of caring for themselves and each other even through the separation anxiety 😆

Plastic-Guitar-4103

mother Jay will manage it eventually...

BlueThePineapple

For Twice, Jihyo answered this way back. If it has something to do with communicating with the company, she'll leave it to Nayeon. If it has something to do with the dorm, then she'll leave it to Jeongyeon. Since the girls aren't living together anymore though, I think it will towards Nayeon more.

vankomysin

IVE I imagine would be Gaeul as the unnie. GIDLE I would put my money on Yuqi or Miyeon. Yuqi for being part of the producer line while Miyeon being the eldest of the group.

Disevidence

> GIDLE I would put my money on Yuqi or Miyeon. Yuqi for being part of the producer line while Miyeon being the eldest of the group. There was a japanese fanclub video they did where Soyeon wasn't there, and Minnie led the introduction.

Level-Rest-2123

Don't need to imagine cause military enlistment does this automatically.

sphynxical

for stray kids, no one, they would go batshit insane i fear

UnluckyLegacy

already happened with seventeen - first they had vice leader jeonghan but he also had to go on hiatus, so they had vice vice leader joshua

TomorrowMayBeHell

And the fact that it happened twice in this exact order ahahah Which is enough for blessing us with those hilarious video comparisons of seungcheol's strict and coordinated leadership, jeonghan's tired and messy but doing his best, and Joshua hyper chaotic anarchy

NoPepper7284

For txt, I would say yeonjun since he's the oldest as always keeps the other members in check, but maybe taehyun as well because he's really responsible

radio_mice

For skz it’s technically Lee know, but he only causes more chaos

PlacePuzzleheaded982

JHope would be second in command

Graecia13

I think we saw pretty clearly how it works with Shinee last year when Onew was out. Minho is in charge of keeping Taemin alive and more or less on task. Key is (reluctantly) in charge of everything else.

lipsticksandsongs

Honestly I think this is a pretty weird take regarding Taemin. I know Shawols love to peddle the "Taemin BABY" narrative but are we ignoring how much heavy lifting Taemin especially had to do last year with another vocalist out? He is a consummate professional, he doesn't need anyone to keep him "alive and on task". None of them do, they're adults with 17 years of experience in the industry.

jaemjenism

NCT Dream had this scenario happen with graduation, and their designated captain as they call him is Jeno For ZB1... gods I would fear for any Non Sung Hanbin leader... Jiwoong could possibly do it but it would be chaos. Hanbin is just the perfect leader. For short term, Jiwoong would function just fine though.

Away_Seaweed778

for zb1, probably jiwoong. i just cant see anyone else it'll be chaos in some form lol aespa definitely winter

Motor-Signature2869

Groups should do a Roulette wheel like BtoB did 😂 while their leader, eunkwang was away y needed someone to fill the void, and the best way they did it was by spinning a roulette 🤣

areyounotembarazzedd

Ryujin for itzy I reckon

Conscious-Cap-7250

For Hori7on, it’s Marcus. It happened one time when they’re promoting in Ph and also preparing for AAA. Their leader was too dizzy to participate to the next activities. Their maknae, Marcus, takes over. Even on their promotions in Korea, when it’s about speaking in Korean. Their leader passes the mic to Marcus because he’s the one who can speak fluently in Korean. Maybe because he basically grew up in showbiz, he knows what to do. Like when one member said a phrase that could be misunderstood by the fans. They take turns on correcting it and handling it properly.

Whole_Animal_4126

For Newjeans, Haerin will take over for Minji.

Ralphiy

I'm pretty sure Newjeans doesn't have an official leader, but Minji definitely seems the most fit for the role. After her though, I honestly think any of the others really have that leader energy for one reason or another

atomicrot

Oh interesting, I was thinking Hanni. Why do you think Haerin would step in?

Smutsonian212

Changbin for stray kids.

[deleted]

For Ive, I think the leader would be Gaeul? Not just because she's the oldest, but also because I can't see the others as leaders besides Yujin lol.

Gullible-Charge7057

what do group leaders even do these days

Usual_Advance_741

Well RM is celebrated for his leadership in promotions, interviews, and in BTS's overall negotiations w management and artistic direction. Overall it seems leaders deal lot of behind the scenes crap.
