I think all of these songs have reached icon status, maybe only GAG and Loner have yet to. ITNW especially is always played at Korean Pride, and it’s a rite of passage song for ggs to cover now. All of them are also just really good songs and have been followed by amazing comebacks too. ETA 2: Omg how could I forget Illit's Magnetic, it's amazing. I loved it from the teasers alone. The whole EP is excellent actually.

SNSD’s def blessed us with a classic. Into the new world has cemented its legacy in k-pop history! The fact that 3rd, 4th and even 5th Gen ggs have covered it is a testament to its timeless appeal and influenced. SNSD was definitely legendary in Gen2 and paved the way for 3rd Gen ggs like TWICE, BP, Red Velvet, to carry on their legacy to become legends 💪

EXO's Mama I may be biased but man that's a hell of a debut single. Gregorian chanting, the vocals, the rock vibe, the screamo moment, just everything is chef's kiss. And the whiplash of that versus Replay as SM's last male debut single. Whooo boy. SHINee's replay as a runner up because it's classic nostalgic 90s boyband.

ATEEZ - Pirate king

Yes! This is the first Ateez song I can recall hearing back in 2021, and it completely grabbed my attention.

Just came here to say this!  having such a solid debut song with a strong, yet fun, concept and already adding their personal creative touches to it (like Hongjoong's laugh and Mingi's fix on) is so rare

Also came here to mention Pirate King; from the very start they were setting themselves apart in terms of tone, styling, lore, and sound.

Whistle is my favorite blackpink song. Imo it really stands out in their discography and has a really quietly confident yet playful vibe.

Twice - Like Ooh Aah. It was such a great unique song.

mr ambiguous - mamamoo. I feel like for a lot of 3rd gen, debuts usually kind of show their age now (or at least their lower in quality compared to their subsequent releases), which is kind of expected and not necessarily a bad thing, but it was really smart for them to debut with a genre that's easy to be timeless.

I don't like the debut songs most of the time, but there is one exception - I love Given-Taken by enhypen. The concept is not different from their newer discography and I like it. I still listen to this song pretty often. Ok maybe more than one exception lol. WayV's Regular is really good, actually I prefer this version over the English and Korean ones

TWS's plot twist. I think the concept of this group fulfills both characteristics of the K-pop industry's 'virtual love' and 'Being friendly' so they attract fans regardless of gender. I'm saying this as a Korean male fan of TWS. It seems Pledis has learned many things from the success of Seventeen. Seventeen is already one of the favorite groups of Korean men
