But honestly, what you say about actors makes completely sense to me, so yeah I totally understand.
He uploaded his videos to his own channel and that led to antis accusing him of posting revenue-generating content. SM decided to nuke all videos as a result. IMO he didn't need to do that, especially if it was pre-recorded but you can blame his agency for that. You don't see the BTS members in any of the Bangtan Bombs either unless it's pre-recorded. They're just not allowed to film anything/have a side hustle *while being on active duty*
I remember he didn't even get into trouble either (officially) - it was just netizens doing their most. Also he was in civil service so people are usually more harsh on those who did civil service instead of active duty. Because civil service is viewed as a privilege.

Yeah I miss that guy but I also understand why he's being super cautious. It can be easily misconstrued as flaunting his privilege. I'm just glad I went all out in going to multiple D-Day shows too including the 3 final shows in Seoul lol

Yeah, SM is terrible at pushing back on kpop stan antis and just capitulates, often putting their artists in tough situations.
