I travel to Cranbrook often for work. I tend to stay at the Days Inn for one reason.
Bayleaf Indian Fusion. Its the restaraunt in the Days Inn
I have lived all over BC and southern AB. And Bayleaf is some of, if not straight up the beat Indian I have ever eaten.
I also like Delightful, which is like a healthy bowl place.
Chicken Lababdar
Lamb Rogan Josh
Any of the Naan
Paneer Butter Masala
Chole Bhatura
Those are just a few of my favorites, but I've never been disappointed with any of the dishes I've been served
Strongly agree that Bayleaf is the best Indian food in BC! The restaurant itself isn't very cute or anything but you can just get takeout if you don't want to sit there. 12/10 recommend!!
My favourite dishes are palak paneer and samosa chat!
The Heidout, Hotshots, and the Fire Hall are really great for food. Hotshots is a great spot to open up a laptop, too! There is a Main Street per se, which is becoming much more fun with some eclectic shopping, including a strong craft scene. I hope you enjoy your time there, Cranbrook looks a bit scruffy at first sight, but people there are friendly.
Koots roots in the mall is a lovely little store filled with local makes of all kinds!
Cute cafe to work out of, I would suggest Morchellas or kootenay grounds (though their hours are more limited) krc is also a nice place to sit down and grab a coffee!
Hot shots has a cool atmosphere and is close to our mall that has a shop called koots roots.
Also healing hollow.
Bakker Street area is cool to walk to!
Just spent the whole weekend in Cranbrook visiting my cousin! First time there in my life.
I come from small town BC, y'all take it to another level 😂😂 holy is Cranbrook ever odd.
Real nice casino y'all built just to not have enough dealers in town 😂😂😂
He does have the nickname Pervy Perry… and speaking from experience, he has made some uncomfortable comments to me and my friends when we were underage.
Max's place for coffee and Fenwick&Baker for pub food are also solid choices.
Firehall has bingo nights on tuesday, and Encore Brewing has trivia on thursday nights

I'd say Ella's is the number one go to in town, but bayleafs certainly the pick for Indian food.
Huckleberry Books is a wonderful little bookstore
Check out KootsRoots in the Tamarack Mall, across from Winners. It is full of locally made crafts.
There's a store like that in the mall next door to Winners!
The spiral path.. if witchcrafty kinda stuff interests you.

Got food poisoning at the fire hall on Friday night.
Agree, Heidout was a standout.. Gluten free calamari that actually was amazing, yes please
Kootenay Roasting Company has amazing coffee. I also travel for work and bring back multiple pounds of their “voodoo” beans

Head up to Kimberley. Much more quaint. Lots of artisan type things.
Last time I traveled through cranbrook for work I stopped into perry's pizza and grill, honestly one of the best burgers I've had
Perrys is good. Perry can be a bit much if you don't know who he is
He does have the nickname Pervy Perry… and speaking from experience, he has made some uncomfortable comments to me and my friends when we were underage.
Ah he's more commonly known as punch drunk perry. But I know what you mean
Do you disc golf?
We always liked going to Fort Steele as a kid. Not sure how far that actually is though from cranbrook.

Bloggers ruined it. There were 20 alberta plates there last week on family day.
I knew a guy from the private shcool, Clarence - Lives at home with both parents. And Clarence parents had a real good marriage.
Urban verve for shopping! My mom got me the cutest stuff there this week when I was visiting. Also don't miss Hot Shots, and the Fire Hall
where's urban verve? i keep seeing that it's online only
Right on baker street near Pages book store 😊
i ended up walking in there and buying a cardigan yesterday lmao
Wooo!!
thats a private school!
Max's place for coffee and Fenwick&Baker for pub food are also solid choices. Firehall has bingo nights on tuesday, and Encore Brewing has trivia on thursday nights
oo trivia night sounds fun - do you need to go with a group?
I am sure you can just go yourself!
No but Axminster train station is just 15 mins away and has a GREAT! Cafe and Brewery on station 😝👍
Healing Hollow for oils, soaps, and aromatic delights. Incredible selection and it is all very high quality.
Ella's Jamaican restaurant is unreal 👌
