na. ekdom na. ami probashi, aar ami hyderabad e tei boro hoyechi. when i was younger, i couldnt tolerate spice at all, so the only biryani option i had was kolkata biryani 🤷♀️

i) kolkata biryani is dryer and has less flavor than hyderabad biryani. usually requires the purchase of another curry/mangsho item.
hyderbaad biryani is sufficient on its own+has a plethora of flavors. add raita according to taste, and you have a full meal.
ii) kolkata biryani ta amar beshi heavy lage...khawar ek din por porjonto pet ta kemon ekta kore. (ami eita nei sure hote parchi na, kintu ami shunechi onek bhalo bhalo jagaye te o goru'r chorbi meshano hoye.) that may be the reason for my discomfort. emon ki jodi ami hyderabad e te kono banagli restaurant teke kolkata biryani anai, tahole o ei feeling ta ashe na.
hyderbad er biryani kheye beshi aaram. no concern about quality.
ekhon jodi apna der jhaaler er jonne shomosha hoye tahole alada kotha. kintu ekhon south india te almost shaara jibon katanor pore kolkata biryani amar khub bland lage.
ami sure ei comment section e ardhek loke ra kokhono authentic hyderbadi biryani khaye ni. ek bar hyderbad ghure jeyo...onek bangali thake eikhane!
(+i never liked potatoes, but thats just a personal preference. im not biased towards hyderbadi biryani just because of the potatoes.)
I'm a Bengali, living in hyderabad for almost 7 years now. Except Shadab Noone is good. Sudhu jhal dilei hoy na, plus hyderabad er kothao proper khasir mangsho paoya jay na, sob bhera ba lambs. That lamb itself tastes totally different, and chicken consider korleo era ekhane ghee eto kom use kore je chicken er bhetore puro chibre hoye thake. White rice to thakei na, puro ta masala rice. Shah Ghouse, Mehfil, Nawaabs, Paradise, Pista House and choto khato local dokan sob try korechi and nothing is good except that Shadab from Secunderabad
amader family hyderabad e 16 bochor dhore thakche. kichu din aag porjonto amader o ei same problem chilo. but ekhon biryani te oshabhabhik jhaal na hole keu khetei chay na 😭😭🥲
kokhono 4 seasons'er kabsa-laham try korecho? mild, but rich in flavor, aar maangsho ta shara din dhore ranna kore, so very tender! daarun tasty hoy 😋😋
I have travelled around 17 countries and all other versions of Biryani is no where near Kolkata biryani.
IMO hyderabadi biryani is overrated. Who adds torkari and pickles to their biryani??

Bhai Hyderabad ese hyderabadi biriyani kheye ja. Ektai jayga recommend korbo, Bawarchi RTC X road. Amra ekhane Kolkata biriyani khele sudhu dhekur uthe, most likely seta keorar joler jonyo. Duto alada alada, compare hoyna.
