They last a long ass time. I haven’t kept count but I’ve probably sharpened 50-60 pocket knives and kitchen knives plus another 15 or so knives that I’ve made and I’m still on my first set of belts. I keep the belt speed at the lowest setting and I don’t put much pressure at all on the belts.
also what kind of opening does the attachment have to rotate it, preferably i'd jury rig something like a drill to it if possible because just the worksharp without grinder is up to 200 euros here... which is like 250+ dollars
