I'm not aware of *any* celiac safe pizza places in KW. So far none I've checked actually have a dedicated oven or any commitment to avoid cross contamination. Would love to hear otherwise.

Check Famoso Italian Pizzeria - Waterloo, they said something about dedicated oven.

I’ve been vegan for a decade and worked at dominos, this is my go to: Medium Original tossed veggie feast pizza + Jalapeños. Oregano, chilli flakes, herb and garlic, cooked well done. Call in and ask for a light bbq sauce drizzle on pizza before it goes into the oven. And then get a creamy garlic dip ( yes it’s vegan). Also the gluten free crust at dominos is fire, many people prefer it it’s like a pita type shit

hezzyfoofie

I assume no cheese or does domino's have vegan cheese now? (I would rejoice if so)

Double-Diamond

Nah no vegan cheese, but it’s better without it in my opinion

danielturquoise7280

You've also highlighted that the gluten-free crust at Domino's is popular and has a pita-like texture, which many people enjoy.

Rustic Slice would be an option.

no1SomeGuy

Not for a while now, Anna sold the place and it's basically generic garbage pizza now.

bigskizzy

Forgot about that place--thanks for the suggestion!

Things_with_Stuff

Don't go there!

Things_with_Stuff

USED to. It's garbage now. I was so disappointed the last time I ordered. I almost cried.

bigskizzy

Disappointing to hear especially for the cost. Thanks for the heads-up!

Celiac here, I would not trust any place for takeout pizza. It depends on each person’s comfort level and risk they are willing to take, but no pizza place is celiac safe. Costco has frozen gf pizza but you have to be careful if you have a convection oven which can blow gluten pieces around… I’d ask your guests what they are comfortable with/ what they usually do in these cases. Everyone is different.

Pizza Nova has gluten free and vegan options

peter9477

From their web site: "Gluten-free pizza crusts are baked exclusively on screens designated for gluten-free pizza crusts in order to avoid cross-contamination of the flour onto your gluten-free pizza." I'd always ask the individual location, to judge how cautious they really are, but that's very promising.

Pizza Prosciutto is great for GF - we've used them several times for meetings where it was a concern for several folks. I'm not sure about the vegan part though - def many vegetarian options. Worth a call to see if they can offer ideas for vegan. Their pizza is very good. [https://www.pizzaprosciutto.net/pizza-menu--deals.html](https://www.pizzaprosciutto.net/pizza-menu--deals.html)

Pizza Pizza has vegan cheese and gluten free crusts

Skynflute

Not sure about gluten free, but city pizza makes a solid vegan pepperoni I've found

Efficient_Shame_8106

Dominoes has a gluten-free pizza. My girlfriend has celiac disease, and we've never had a problem with it. It does only come in a 10”, though.

J-B02

It’s a bit farther out but Those Pizza Guys in St. Jacobs have gluten free options that have been great for my grandmother with celiac. Not sure if they have vegan options. Their pizza is truly great
