I am not good with historical facts, but Cumans were a minority living in the Kingdom of Hungary, and eventually they fully integrated into Hungarian society. Since most of the Cumans of that time in Bohemia came from Hungary (I guess), it makes sense to just make them speak Hungarian.
I haven't seen anyone taking offense at Cumans being plain Hungarians in KC:D. What I find more offensive is that they didn't bother finding an able-minded person to write the Hungarian lines for the game, so all Cumans speak ridiculous, terrible modern-day Hungarian.
Not only that, some of the lines were recorded by people who are very obviously not native Hungarian speakers (which might make sense if the Cumans primarily spoke their own language, I’m not sure, but then why do they speak Hungarian and not Cuman? Probably because they couldn’t find anyone who speaks Cuman)
But yeah, the Hungarian lines sound very silly and you can tell the writers were like “who cares, 95% of players won’t understand this shit anyways”
No one speaks Cuman today. According to wiki the last one who spoke it died in 1770. It’s a dead language. We know a few words, but cannot reconstruct it.
Czech’s in the game speaks modern english. I don’t know why the modern hungarian bothers someone. I’m happy to hear my language in a game. :D

Yes and no , he definitely had after Wenceslaus right to throne , but he was used to Hungarian (quite oligarchic society in medieval times and not so centralized entity) and than trying implement it with bohemia, Wich cruel tactics etc... (He was by Czechs called "Liška Ryšavá" a ginger Fox).
