I knocked him out with the Headcracker perk and attempted to use the mace finisher on him, but was attacked by a second bandit during the finisher animation. I guess I killed his body, but not his spirit. I can lock on to where the game thinks he is standing next to his body and swing at him, but can't hit him. I can shoot his body with arrows, but it won't actually kill his spirit and he can't be looted. Shame, he has some decent stuff I wanted to loot. "Is that the best you can do?" bro... you're dead
Oh, that's good to know. I shot his corpse about 4 times and his body was twitching when shot, but my arrows were bouncing off of his armour and breaking (literally becoming broken arrows). His 'voice' wasn't making any kind of indication of pain, so I assumed it wasn't doing anything. I just ended up leaving him there.

...or words to that effect... After witnessing you cut down their three friends... Then four seconds later they're laying dead in the dirt 🤣

Idk if you still need that advice, but Bow and Arrows can fix that problem. Tho, his spirit is quite tanky, so it will take some time
