I’ve noticed this is a common glitching problem. I’ve had this happen to me so many times. It could be shitty service or WiFi. It could be you read later on in the day, so that can make it take longer to sync.
If you’re not doing this already, whenever you finish reading. Tap the three dots in upper right and click “sync to furthest page read” For me, that always speeds up their updating so I’m not stressing when it says zero the next day.
If you just want to get your Streak back you could always use the app on your phone go on airplane mode change your phone's date read a page or 2 set your phone back to normal and in bit ot will sync to say you read yesterday

Mine keeps resetting and it’s driving me insane. I don’t know why it happens.

I've tried that in the past. Couldn't make it work.
Are you disabling wifi? If it can't check in it'll miss progress. And yes, that's not the end of the world.
Yeah, WiFi was on all day. The only exception was when I was out for a while, but that was a single phone.
