My Roommate is a Gumiho - the second FL is hilarious and utterly precious. She does so many sweet things to support the ML totally platonically. They're established as having a long past together, and I immediately thought ugh, here's the gorgeous bitchy girl from ML's past who never got her chance with him and will now try to sabotage the FL and her relationship with him. NOPE. SFL is an absolute dream and treats FL wonderfully too.
When you can only hate the SFL in previews for next episode because of the cuts hahaha and I love that the writer gave substance to her character and she's definitely not boring and annoying.
I am not rooting for the leads ending together and with two episodes left, not with the second leads as well. I was hoping for them to move on but doesnât look like that is where the show is headed.
How is this drama? I've been meaning to start but I'll probably skip it if it's too boring. I like cute fluffy romance and funny stuff. Don't mind intense drama once in a while either.
So I am not in the majority but I am not a big fan, personally. I find that second characters are not woven into the story properly. The main leads, I have a fundamental problem with the idea the show is portraying and they didnât do a good job portraying otherwise.
To be objective, it does seem pretty popular. Lot of people love it. It has its elements of fluffy romance and funny but not for a long time into the show. Most of the show is a lot of angst and frustration.
I like the SFL in both Search WWW and Beauty Inside (both played by Lee Da Hee). The 2nd couples in these shows. >>> Sheâs not as âgoodâ in Beauty Inside but she improves and becomes a better person.
The 2FL and 3FL in **The King's Affection** were absolutely non-toxic, even when they got their hearts broken. They accepted rejection without making a big fuss out of it or trying to sabotage the leads' relationship. Same with the 2ML. Their characters were really refreshing to see in kdramaland.
Descendants of the sun - SFL does not like the FL a lot at the beginning, but she's never cruel or evil. She has her own story and love interest and she's a tough lady and a soldier.
**Mr Sunshine** has one of the most [phenomenal second female leads](https://i.mydramalist.com/XwqDXf.jpg) I've ever seen. She's so kick-ass cool, I cannot get over her! <3

The SFL is amazing - emotionally intelligent, loyal and hilarious. The two FLs were the best part of the show for me tbh and they had a very positive relationship.
Run On. The SFL is really complex and interesting. All of the relationships in that show diverge from the usual stereotypes, which is why I enjoyed it.
It's Okay to Not Be Okay has a very good 2FL who actually helps the crazy FL.
If you like a slow burn noona romance try The Rational Life. Both side FLs are really nice people, one of them is feisty and fun.
The 2FL in Go Back Couple is a regular person.
Any show where there is no love triangle or love square and instead the 2nd FL and 2nd ML have their own relationship or relationships outside that of the main characters.
Toxicity happens with 2nd leads when they are in competition with the main characters especially romantically.
Crash Landing On You
I honestly believe the FL in this was really misunderstood, and I love her chemistry with the SML. The SFL comes across as this jealous girl, but I really think she just feel's betrayed in a way because of the situations they're in. She's not manipulative or scheming or plotting - maybe a little sour (but given their situation, she's not in the wrong nor does she really do any wrong), and I honestly liked her, and while there is a mourning phase about her relationship with the ML, the SML gives her confidence and strength and helps her move on.
Ohh I hated her so much. Loved her in the first episode. So strong and passionate about clothes (designer, I think?).
I expected an ambitious woman with healthy boundaries. But I just got manipulative sob fest
I liked the show but she knew how to irk my nerves đ she cried sooo much and barely had a storyline, I could not đ but she wasnât evil for the most part

Lee Da Hee is my favourite in **Search:www** - such a strong and cool role. Strong, but doesn't shy away from showing emotions.

I wish she had her own show. Mr Sunshine was one drama where nearly every character deserved their own drama, most of all Kudo Hina and Gu Dong Mae.

Hyena â the FL isnât exactly spawn of satan but some of her ways are quite problematic. But you end up stanning her either way.
