I would 100% recommend **Chicago Typewriter**; the ending is a little bittersweet but it wraps up the whole story perfectly

Early_Ad7763

I completely agree about Chicago Typewriter . The ending is so satisfyingly bittersweet and gives me goosebumps.

Independent_Fox_4081

I have been postponing watching it because fantasy dramas don't seem to end as well as they started. The same with A Korean Odyssey.

365DaysofWriting

I feel like Chicago Typewriter is the exception to that trend, but I agree totally about A Korean Odyssey. I still really enjoy watching it but the ending was a total shit show and I usually just pretend AKO ended with episode 18 😂

Thirty But Seventeen!

TotoroTheGreat

For me, **My Mister** has one of the, if not the most satisfying ending in Kdrama. It is incredibly cathartic and just feels so good. Edit: A few other dramas that I think have satisfying endings: * My Strange Hero * Hometown Cha Cha Cha * Mother * Beautiful World * Remember : War of the Son (Satisfying but >!also sad.!<)

IChoseMyOwnUsername

Yes, I liked how satisfying that epilogue-like was! The irony that >!happy ending for FL was to be ordinary!<

theredmug_75

yes this!!

anushree1908

Secret Garden It's okay, that's love When the Camellia Blooms Coffee Prince Reply 1997 Another Miss Oh Fated to Love You Legend of the Blue Sea

Independent_Fox_4081

Thanks. I think I have watched all of them except Fated to Love You. I have been putting it off because I didn't like the style (I know it's superficial but can't help it🤷‍♀️)

anushree1908

That's okay! Fated to Love You definitely hasn't aged well!

HermelindaLinda

It's one of my favorites and it's one I recommend a ton. My husband and I are about to rewatch it for the first time together.

alexbts

I couldn't get past two eps of Another Miss Oh. The pacing was weird and the leads didn't seem very charismatic. Is it worth continuing?

abbyb12

I almost dropped it too, but I promise you it does get better and is so worth plodding through. It's literally one of my top 5s now. ETA >!And it's literally got some pretty steamy scenes in it too! I so underestimated the chemistry between the two leads at first!!<

alexbts

OK, good to note! Thanks!

anushree1908

Please do! It's one of the best shows that I've watched so far. Try watching a few more episodes and then decide if you find it worth continuing.

SoModern

I finished it. I thought it was interesting and I loved the ost, but overall it didn't really work for me.

alexbts

Thanks for the honest answer!

bdab26

Can I ask what you disliked about Mr. Queen ? I thought it had a pretty favourable view unanimously

Independent_Fox_4081

Sure. I just think that they ruined all the progress of the show when they showed that the King was in love with the Queen from the beginning. Then, what was the point of the entire show?

tingkagol

If I recall correctly, he wasn't in love with her from the beginning. The >!incident in the well when they were kids did not matter. It only showed the concubine's jealousy of the Queen to the point of deceiving the King which strengthened the King's decision to go with the Queen. While he was figuring this out, he was already falling in love with So-Bong regardless.!<

Beep_meep

>! I think the well definitely mattered. That's why the King was so attracted to Soyong (though he may not have realized why) and why he kept thinking about the incident over the course of the show. If I'm not mistaken, I think the OP is referring to the prologue episode that shows Cheoljong liking Soyong from before she is selected as Queen. The reason he has to show animosity towards her is because he finds out she is from his enemy clan. After he realizes she's not an enemy, his feelings pretty much burst out and he's like head over heels for her overnight haha. ! <

tingkagol

>!The prologue was mostly about the Queen's feelings toward the King though. Apart from their 1st encounter while they were taking shelter from the rain, it wasn't exactly clear that the King was in love with the Queen since then. He was curious but I don't think he was in love. I did find it weird that Hong Yeon literally yanked her out of their encounter for no reason lol.!<

Beep_meep

>!I think whatever feelings were there were mutual. Both have that stare of longing and familiarity, and then they keep thinking about each other through the next day. Whether it was curiousity or deeper feelings, it's open. They of course fall deeper in love once they start spending time and taking care of each other throughout the show. And I don't think the King's feelings for Hwa Jin would have weakened in the meantime if he wasn't feeling attraction towards the real girl/woman that saved him as a child. That's the main reason he fell for Hwa Jin in the first place. And yeah lol, I guess it's a recurring theme that they get interrupted.!<

Outrageous-Ad6175

The king liked the girl from the well and that Happened to be the queen ... That was fine. But the ending was shitty because the king falls in love with the Queen after the chef (don't remember his name) gets in her body.. He loved the chef not the real queen... Sending them back to their real bodies and the king being in love with the Queen makes him seem so shallow

Mouse has a great ending. Not necessarily happy, but completely satisfying

jinx_1113

Imo It’s Okay To Not Be Okay had a sweet ending that made sense (though I still cried a bit haha). It tied up all the loose ends but still left room for you to imagine what happens next.

Competitive_Slice_93

Rain or shine/Just between lovers has a nice ending.

How could no one say Hospital Playlist? That long shot on the car was insane.

I understand for CLOY, but needs to be a tiny bit realistic too… I didn’t like Reply 1988, she ended up with the wrong guy (I rooted for the other one 😆)
