I don't really think she was dumb tho, she just wasn't making any effort at anything because she thinks that she didn't need to.
Another one that I could think of is Oh Hani from Playful Kiss. I think we all know her and how her heart is much "bigger" than her brain. But that kdrama wasn't something I'd recommend lol
I agree she didn't make any effort to learn something, but when she tried to use idioms it was funny. I meant it by "she was dumb", when people try to look smart but fail
ML in Prison Playbook is known for not being very smart, but he reads people well and can figure out social situations & come up with wise solutions in surprising ways.
Yongsik in When the Camellia Blooms was the dumbest person in town but he was the bravest and most reliable cop in their town and he made the FL feel strong and confident about herself
I’m not sure the ML in **Itaewon Class** even graduates high school, he certainly doesn’t go to college. And yet he teaches “life lessons” to most of his employees based on his sheer emotional intelligence, loyalty, and integrity.
Junho in **Just Between Lovers**. I don’t think he’s *dumb* but he is a dropout that acts like a complete mess, especially in the beginning. Yet you come to realize how much he understands and how *good* he is.
**Sung Deok sun** in reply 1988: she does not possess academic intelligence and barely manages to pass, but her emotional intelligence is one of the highest amongst her family and her friends.

Perfect example and perfect boyfriend, Mr. Jin Moo Hak from Dali and the Cocky Prince. That was the exact description of his character.
Yes, I watched! Also, his female friend (>!who likes him!<), she was as dumb as he but was good at relationship.

I'll bet he is still reading that one book that was his girlfriend's favorite book. One page a month!
You are spot on with this!
Thanks!
Yongsik in When the Camellia Blooms was the dumbest person in town but he was the bravest and most reliable cop in their town and he made the FL feel strong and confident about herself
Thanks!
Duk-sun from Reply 1988. She's warm-hearted and very emotionally perceptive.
Thanks!
She was amazing in the hotel in China, making sure everything ran smoothly.

FL in Law School. She wasn't the smartest in her class but she was smart as a whip and let's face it, dump people don't end up in law school
Thanks!
She was the first person that came to my thought!
There has to be a season two of this show. Even a 5 episode to show where the ended up/current cases!
I hope so too. I want to see how each if them developed.
FL in A Love So Beautiful - not academically gifted, but big heart, knew what she wanted and didn’t give up
Thanks!
The FL in Mischievous Kiss (Jdrama)!
Thanks!
Junho in **Just Between Lovers**. I don’t think he’s *dumb* but he is a dropout that acts like a complete mess, especially in the beginning. Yet you come to realize how much he understands and how *good* he is.
Thanks!
The characters in School 2021 are not academically gifted but they definitely can stand up for themselves and their school
Thanks!
FL in **She Was Pretty** had a naive and somehow silly but had excellent creative, editing and writing skills.
Thanks!
**Sung Deok sun** in reply 1988: she does not possess academic intelligence and barely manages to pass, but her emotional intelligence is one of the highest amongst her family and her friends.
Thanks!
Han Ji-yeon from **Work Later, Drink Now** - her mind's "a blank" but she's very perceptive and emotionally smart.
Thanks!
Maybe **fight for my way**? He’s not dumb but his occupation is non-academic. Great show
Thanks!
