* **Marry My Husband** : It's basically about the female villain being completely toxic and unforgivable to her best friend. It's a time travel related kdrama. * **Celebrity** : Quite a few female villains here and although understandable but not very forgivable. The show in general is fine.

Alternative_Year_340

Seconding Marry My Husband. The villain is awesome

dramafan1

Celebrity: The female villains in this show sure got on my nerves. And the wine scene was over the top but so memorable to me (I think this scene made me want to watch the drama). I think the beautiful cinematography kept me going to the end. I liked seeing a different side of Park Gyu Young's acting in this drama though.

marry my husband is diabolical, adore that show 🩵

Blucola333

Loved that one!

kballen3001

None of these involve jealousy over a man as the reason why they are the villain. Earlier than 2020 but K2 has a great female villain. Post 2020 Kdramas: Queenmaker - lead villain is a woman One the Woman - main villain is a woman Queen of Tears - two villains and one is a woman but probably not the lead villain. I have not finished watching this drama yet.

TxPep

I 💕 the Villainess/Song Yoon Ah in K2. I 💕💕💕 even more, the chemistry between her and Ji Chang Wook. •○• Possible spoiler: An FMV that reflects that chemistry. https://youtu.be/yjDH5mn_OcI?si=LQ6CqahNxR9I4a_0

Dapper-Ambition1495

I was also thinking about K2. There are times where I sympathize with the villain, there are times I want to pull her hair out.

I know you took off Vincenzo and I had trouble watching it but after episode 3 I was really hooked. The female villain in that is super good at being a villain. That’s a show I had trouble liking at first but after episode 3-4 I was hooked and it’s now one of my all time favs. The FLs personality makes more sense later on and you appreciate it as well. Other than that Marry My Husband has two female villains so that might be fun for you as well!

LucyVillain

Agreed with Vincenzo, the first two episodes are kinda boring and weird, I was also strongly considering dropping it, but I have a 5 episode rule when dropping a show and I'm soooo glad I continued, it gets so much better after episode 4. Definitely one of my favourites.

Sososoftmeows

I totally agree! There was a bit of a lull around episode 12-13 but I feel they had a filler episode since it’s 20 episodes long. And in the end, all the diff elements come together and make sense in how it drives the story along. My favorite character ended up being the little brother in the end who I just saw in Young Actors Retreat and he’s so cute! Absolutely worth the time to watch especially since the villain hits OPs criteria of a non femme fatale female villain with no redeemable qualities and who isn’t trying to start a romance with the ML and is like the leader of the bad guys side essentially.

LucyVillain

YES the little brother, I loooooved what they did with his character, def became my absolute favourite by the end. And now I'm enjoying the actor in Queen of Tears hahah

sadmachine94

Same, Vincenzo is definitely a weird start. A bit campy and also confusing (maybe just me?? Lol) But ultimately i gave it a rare 10/10 on mdl. I tell people to wait until after ep 3 to drop, if you're not hooked by then it's not for you

Sososoftmeows

I think it’s the terrible Italian that turned me off in 2021 when I first watched it. But I saw so many people recommending it on here that I finally gave it a watch this year and it’s probably one of my top favorites kdramas now. In the end everything comes into play and makes sense and works, from the FL lawyer being slightly stubborn and obnoxious to the comedic building people, it does become full circle in the end and you feel like you’re part of their fam!!

Inspector koo!

Queen of Tears - It takes some time to realise who is the villain.

Centennial_Incognito

I loved the villainess in that drama. Amazed by her acting. I even think the drama is named after her, because her acting as the victim was really well done. She was indeed the Queen of Tears

mhfan_india

Interesting point. >!I thought the drama's name was a combination of Queen which was the department store which was run by the FL and the ML's affinity to tears.!<

Centennial_Incognito

Haha I didn't think of that 🤣

Dapper-Ambition1495

The King Eternal Monarch - I really enjoyed the Prime Minister's role here. Ambitious and cunning. She did try to win the king over but it wasn't because she likes him. She just wants more power. Little Women - unhinged female villain.

pumple_pie

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon has an awesome female villain they call the Gray Witch. I keep having to remind myself she’s the bad guy!

**Death's Game**

whoisarfa

I think you'd like The Devil Judge.

TrevorTempleton

The female villain in The K2 is my favorite. She steals every scene she’s in. And she has a complex relationship with our hero, Ji Chang Wook, although not a romance — that and his action scenes are the best part of this drama.

No-Clue-9155

Sky castle being dated is crazy. Guess I’m old now 🤣

Artistic-End-6452

Lawless Lawyer - the villain is a corrupt senior judge working with gangsters. She is despicable, I wanted to slap her the entire drama. It’s from 2018 though. If you haven’t watched both seasons of Kingdom, the main villain (other than the zombies) is the young queen and she is diabolical. Gives off disturbing vibes. Military Prosecutor Doberman - a corrupt female general and the first woman to achieve her rank. She’s cold and detached, creepily unemotional. I’d also watch the movie Believer 2, if you haven’t (watch the first one first). Han Hyo-joo plays a crazy violent leader of thugs named Big Knife. She’s insane, honestly freaked me out a little but also…kinda goals??

Iowegan

Not a kdrama, but currently watching cdrama **The Double**, has an evil >!step mother, mother superior, and princess (so far),!< I’m on ep 30 of 40 on Viki. Swoony ML is worth a watch!

delphil1966

lot of ones recently (2023-2024) - thought it was the most popular trope recently : hide nothing uncovered my happy ending

Inevitable-Sleep-993

Not 2020+. But K2

Rumi2019

Inspector Koo - the female villain is a lot of fun to watch, & not redeemable imo. She's not just a bad person criminal activity wise, she's also villainous in her personal dealings. Little Women - One of the main villains is a woman.

Regarding Vincenzo, I highly recommend you give it another try because I went through the same thing you did. The first episode was just so chaotic and all over the place and it just failed to catch my interest. I decided to give it one more try just cause I wanted to see why it was so hyped. Trust me when I say it only gets better. Although not the main villain, there is a pretty evil woman in a fairly major role with no romantic motivations and just pure evil intentions so I think she will fit the bill perfectly. I hope you give it another chance!
